London England, Kensington Gardens

For what it's worth, I thought the clues led to the statue of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens in London.

3 and 2. Orange - Kensington Palace has a statue of William of Orange who lived in Kensington Palace. Orange is also the name of the BBC television subsidiary as well as the British film prize and the prize for fiction. The orangery is also in Kensington Gardens.

4. Peter Pan -James Barrie lived behind Kensington Gardens which inspired him to write the book Peter Pan. The statue of Peter Pan is a boy standing on a pyramid of stones. The pyramid (built of stones) shining is shown on the Push Logo. The dog Nana is a big sheep dog which is based on Barrie's dog he walked through the park which is a dog shown on an episode walking through the street.

5 and 8. G5 is the section of the Push Map that shows Ellis Dry Lake. The statue of Peter Pan is right next to the Long Water.

6. Morse Code. Samuel Morse was a painter in London. The first trans-Atlantic cable was from Newfoundland to England. The first SOS distress call was from a boat in the English Channel. Morse Code was used to solve the Dr. Crippen murders. Also Inspector Morse is a popular British detective television show.

7. I don't think toyota18 was meant to be the clue here. Jim's Domain can only be Bank. Peter Pan is on the bank of the Long Water (all the water references in Push). Also the Bank of England, London.

9 and 2. Longitude is a British Television show which is a biography of John Harrison. Harrison developed the first working navigation system based on his precise time-keeping clock. (Interestingly the Longitude Prize itself was a race to win 20,000 pounds to be given to whoever could develop a perfect time system. Over discrepancies with the prize board, Harrison only won 8,750 pounds.) Clocks and precise time were a theme in Push. Harrison is buried in St. John's cemetery, London. The three (Davies?) children which Peter Pan is based on are also buried in that cemetery.

10. Underwear - Victoria's Secret. Queen Victoria was living in Kensington Palace when she was awoken and told she was the new Queen. The secret is that Peter Pan is in her garden.

11. Southeast - London is in the South east of England.

12. Silas Bodnick. (Marc Bodnick by the way is a developer from Silver Lake Productions who helped produce the show). Silas Marner is a book by George Eliot of a British man who hoards gold.

13. Eliot. I believe both TS Eliot and George Eliot (alias of Mary Anne Evans) are both meant here. TS Eliot of course because of his Prufrock poetry, as well as all the references to cats throughout the show and the character's name, etc. TS Eliot also lived in London. George Eliot, who lived in London, wrote Silas Marner as well as Middlemarch a book about a father/daughter relationship - money as the root of all evil - and the discussion of Christianity.

Also as far as other Push references:

Water - The Long Water is next to the Serpentine - serpent on the arm of Oswald.

Tea - Jim would only drink tea not coffee

Spelling - a few of the businesses had the traditional British spelling of Shoppe and Towne.

Time - a few times "British" as opposed to American time was used.

To me all roadsigns led to England, and once in England to Kensington Gardens, and once there, to the statue of Peter Pan.

I feel it's possible that after a successful series, the winner would have made the trip to England, and receive the prize. Now, ABC cancelled the series and came up with a much faster and cheaper prize.

Perhaps one could relate any 13 clues to a specific spot in the world. I would like to know if there is one correct answer, and not just a grand prize won by someone who could have put all the clues together by logging onto the internet this morning, and phoning the number tonight.

Location: Between the outer edge of inner space and the inner edge of Outer Space...

I too had Kensington Garden pegged as the money location for many the same reasons as you...also the clues fit for Disney World, Disneyland, and Poughkeepsie New York.

Disney World/Disneyland

Television=Orlando Studios/Hollywood

Orange=Both located in Orange County

Peter Pan=The ride and character from the movie

G=Across the street Peter Pan's Flight sit It's A Small World, so I thought G stood for Globe

Morse Code=Thier are several movies that Disney did that had Morse Code featured in them, like the Rescuer's Down Under

WWW.Toyota18.Com=No tie in's anywhere except for marketing reasons

Five&Longitude I was having a hard time fitting, whereas Kensington Garden's are at 5 Degree's Longitude or at least damn close to it...

Underwear=I took it as a clue to what John wore in Peter Pan...Long Johns which also is a famous name for a Disney Pirate, Long John Silver

Southeast=This really made me swing to Disney World instead of Disneyland as it's located in Florida, Southeastern USA not the West Coast

Bodnick=Marc Bodnick Works for Live Planet with Ben and Matt and once worked for Disney

Eliot=I took this as an homage clue to good ol' T.S....also a character in E.T. (albeit with 2 l's) and a ride in Disney/Universal studios.

As for Poughkeepsie...

It was also in an Orange County, Peter Pan bus lines run to it, G I took for Grove...as in Locust Grove which is where Robert Morse, the inventer of Morse Code, lived...

But then the rest of the clues came out and swung me off of that line and either to Disney World (and all the obvious tie-ins and cross promotioning) or Kensington Gardens in England where all the clues fit pretty much like a glove...

I too agree with Cariannv that given the time it would have been England as the location of the money and an elequent ending not only a great show but a pretty cool game and not a phone# and a hurried lopped off ending that was shoved down our throats...

Sorry, still a bit bitter....

Anybody else out there want to rationalize their insanity?

All I can say is WOW!
What well thought out hypotheses....wish I had "thunk" it...lol

I would be extremely interested to find out what the "real ending" (assuming there was one) would have been had the show run its course, just to see how well you faired.

I am obviously not cut out for these games...lol

Not that it really matters, but why do you think Poughkeepsie is in Orange County? I'm in Poughkeepsie this second, and I'm in Duchess County.

Just going by what was online LordK...according to Mapquest and several others, Poughkeepsie was shown to be in the Orange County lines...unless they are wrong or I read them wrong, but with three or four cross references, I took it to be in Orange...if I was wrong, sorry.

But it was a red herring anyways, deliberatly designed by oh Great Ben the PM himself...their were several parellel possibilities and I truely believe that the Ultimate solve would of required not only you to decipher a phone number to call, but also you would have to have given the location of the money in order to win...which I also believe without a doubt that it would have been in Kensington Gardens in the good ol UK...but because of the axing of the show, was thrown out the window and it became a fastest mind/fingers contest.

I also find it ironic that the actual Push Nevada show was cancelled by the very power that Push Nevada the town was created to serve...the all mighty ratings.

Oh, no, don't apologize. I didn't take offense or anything, just curious where you got that info.
