I get a rookie's intuition that there's functaional significance to Anne repeatedly mentioning how she misses her grandmother. Anyone else get this vibe?

Based on the information we have so far, here's what I think VaporLofts is doing:

It sounds to me like Vapor is pulling the spirits of the dead through a gateway, but they don't have bodies to put them in. That's what I get out of the img_map.jpg text.

The ATL1.jpg text pretty much confirms they have some kind of gateway in Atlanta (and yes, the photo is of Atlanta. I recognize the Georgia Dome).

I think the plane crash survivor described by Anne at http://www.livejournal.com/users/point_system/6258.html is actually one of Vapor's spirits, put into the body of a Vapor contractor, and placed at the scene of the crash. Evidence: (a) DNA testing says she's not who she thinks she is, (b) she's in excellent condition, after supposedly experiencing a plane explosion and 30k foot fall, and (c) she contracted on a month-to-month basis for Vapor.

Now they're paying Anne as a contractor, but they don't seem to have her doing very much, and they've ordered Parrish to try to reassure her.

Look out Anne, somebody wants your body, for all the wrong reasons.

 		Ghost audio
I've pulled out the "ghost voice" audio from the trailhead video, but I really can't make anything out of it. There's a slight possibility that he says "what?", but my guess is it's just an almost subliminal cue to draw attention to that point in the video.

I've amplified the ghost voice very slightly in this clip. If anyone wants an unaltered capture to mess with, let me know.

 		i used every audio effect and filter i have in studio on this clip. frequency isolators, band pass, phase inversion, denoise, etc...

and came up with the exact same solution. bugger all. although i did get the idea also that it might have just been someone behind camera whispering "what"

 		looks like a girls face to me, even though the voice doesn't match (if it even is a voice). and how about those background sounds, the stuff that sounds like a generator or turbine spinning of that sort. anyone else here that? i know if i was making a video like that, i would have turned off whatever it was (if it were possible). can someone identify that noise?

It's kind of a weird cross, but on 404.html there is the text "why are you here?" and the description of that page says "voice". I thought it's odd. What if this is what the ghost says? Perhaps very fast and almost unintellegible. I bet someone already tried to capture the sound and slow it down or speed it up...

Strange you should say that...
A lot of people have been thinking that it's "what," but I thought that the word ends too high to have a T end. it sounded more like "why" to me. And if you listen closely, it sounds like the voice continues, possibly saying "are you here?"

Anyone able to read the blurry words on floor2b? I don't remember that floorplan.
