 		and here's what i could make out of the text. looks like it was printed on an already existing picture of the generator, or "Vapor Energy Regulation" drawing (formatting is replicated to the original):

 		Ok, so I don't know how many times I've tried to extract something from the missedcon.jpg using JPHS 0.5 and have gotten nothing. What version of the software did you use (and can you give me a link so I can download it?)
Ok, it turns out it was camouflaged. Personally, when I hear a pic was steg'd, I think JPHS.

I think that was the page you should have hit the first time around, delusional.

It has some German (which I don't speak), ROT (see below) and French (which I suck at) on it.

Just to clarify the generator pic, I'd say those two unknown words would be 'animals' and 'tricksters' respectively.

 		2 items worth noting (i think):

1) remember when anne said she was craving a caffrey's? i went to their website and it's under construction. tried to sign up for email mist and it wouldn't let me. plus i've never heard of caffrey's. does anyone know if this is a real beer?

2) based on a comment from vapourtrail from her 6-6-05 post, did a search for NFNT and got nothing. did search for epigone and came to an interesting, highly encrypted website http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~work/

anyone want to check it out and see what they think?

(there's a pic of a trout on one of their pages as well...)

Actually, the reverse babelfish sounded closer to the truth than what I first gathered from this mess. :p

I think I was very wrong with my first theory regarding the teleportation devices. Something else is going on here. My current theory:
VaporLofts is setting up devices which separate the body from the "self" or the soul or something like that. That's how the ghosts come about. But why in distinct places all in equal distance frome each other? And what about the replicators? Perhaps the "Gateway" is a portal for ghosts which they draw out of the spirit plane?
Sounds wierd. I like that. Laughing

Now what about those attached data files the ROTed excerpt was talking about?

Something else: The auth code from the page in the gateway folder is PS-5793. One room on the floorplan of level 1 is designated as 5493.
Those numbers are probably random, but whatever.

had a look at the link above dont know if it has changed but it has LUKE 2:3 looked this up as a bible reference came up with

 		I will admit I have no idea what's going on, but it appears a reccuring theme so far is the apocalypse. Annie's dreamt of the "rout of civilization" twice now, through alien invasion (I'm inferring beings from the sky coming down to wage war on maknind) and a viral plague/zombie holocaust.

The other reference is in that poem above, talking about angels, demons and, again, the seeming desire to destroy the world. The poem also talks of being stuck on one plane or other, needing mankind's help to break through to this. Vaporlofts?

I have a bad feeling about this. Shocked

And then there is all this stuff turning up in Annie's folder. Does she know we've found all this? I want to know if she has any idea why all her uploaded files contain steganography, inserted text, hex, ROTs and the like.

She probably has no idea, which would mean that a) she doesn't know she's doing it (Yeah, tech-savvy 9000 yr old demonic posession Laughing) or b)There is another at Vaporlofts passsing this information on to her by messing with her files. We probably need to find them.

I think the epigone website is out of game, because its Japanese, and things, but I suppose anything is possible. And that is a stunningly coincidental biblical reference its got going on. Good call Smile

 		Point_System's LJ and leads to other ARG's
Hi, I just got up-to-date yesterday and wanted to share a few findings.

In Anne's most recent LJ entry, there is a response, http://www.livejournal.com/users/point_system/6882.html?thread=35042#t35042, from "djingo_labbat72" claiming to have been investigating Vapor prior to finding her livejournal account. My initial thoguhts were, this dude is part of the game, so I went to follow the trail.

His userinfo reveals the account was created Wednesday Sept 14th, no friends or entries or interests, but an email address "steven_mae@hotmail.com" in it.

I ran a search on the name and found myself the Orbicon website here, http://www.orbiconcorp.com/index.php, which has been revealed to be an ARG staging ground for PM's in training. http://www.orbitalcolony.com/index.htm

So yeah, he's a part of the game probably meant to give information about the other Vapor location in South America.

Meanwhile, Anne's LJ entry is creating a lot of buzz in her response section. I'm dutifully throwing out variosu supernatural and otherwise explanations for the face in the film strip.
