[SPEC] Viendenbourg

OK, so follow my thoughs...

V is actually Viendenbourg. It's just not telling us the real name. In the same way Q - Quercus - Holyoke.

So just as Quercus - genus that includes oak trees - holyoke, there should be some obscure link.

Now.. Berg, bourg, borg - all mean fortress, and there's a Vienden tow, and castle in Luxembourg.

There's also:

vicomte de Vienden Henry de Vienden was born circa 1192. Viscount of Vienden in Luxembourg.1 He married Marguerite, dame de Châteauneuf-sur-Cher, daughter of Pierre II, imperator Romaniae and Yolande, Impératrice Romaniae, in 1217; Her 2nd (widow).1 He died in 1252.1

That's kinda where my spec ends.

Actually, the town and castle are named Vianden. (I also attempted research via google - however, the name Vienden is clearly Luxembourgish/French)

vienden is a common misspelling of the dutch word vrienden, meaning friends... i love google

that cant be right, or else its a twisted joke

ok screw dutch, german is the right language if you let viendenbourg become vrienden burg which is possible as why would he right two words down on a piece of paper lying on his desk? Answer: a telephone message. Also the pronunciation of german would mean they sounded pretty similar when spoken, the only problem is i dont speak german or have a dictionary and online translaters are crap.
