my two cents
is that it is

"invade"

IN V (for Voltage) A (for i dunno) D (for death) and E (for elephant)

*edit: A for antagonist?

really good suggestions! Send it on in Labfly, certainly worth a guess (I'm on about guess number 10 so far.)

I'm trying to compile a list of all these suggestions and then I'll work my way through a lot of letter combos and see what we can get.

I just had a little idea,

one is true, maybe that means that one of the pictures representing a letter is already in the correct place. The ? mark next to the eye can message could mean the fourth pic corresponds to the 4th letter.

{-} {-} {-} {-} {-} {-} = 3

could mean 6th letter is side 3

{-} = 2

could mean 1st letter is side 2

hmmm good Thought Russell. In which case, not only are we dealing with a hidden word, but an anagrammed hidden word.

ok, so 6 is 3, 1 is 2, and one is true(ly) placed (possibly 4)

_ 1 6 4 _ _

2, 3, 5 are out, and assuming 5 cannot be in the 5th place

we have (2,3,5) 1 6 4 (2,3) (2,3,5)
or the following four combos:
3,1,6,4,2,5
5,1,6,4,2,3
2,1,6,4,3,5
5,1,6,4,3,2

for the six places. That's assuming our assumptions and my logic is correct. :p

Now we just have to figure out the letters, and hopefully the other pieces will fall into place. Do we have any other clues hinting at order?

The position of the pics laid out on the cube, maybe?

I see your point. So there are 2 ways of looking at it. I've always thought of the {-} as representing a side of the cube, and was thinking of it as 6th side=3rd position, but didn't think of it the other way, 6th position = 3rd side.

dang, that just complicates things more. So, with that thought, we can add:

2,5,6,4,1,3
2,6,5,4,1,3
2,5,1,4,6,3
2,1,5,4,6,3

So we have eight combos to try, assuming we can find the correct letters, whch is tougher now if they're out of order. I'm starting to think we're not much closer to solving this thing now.

Durn.

Withe - possibly.. it'd have to be taken into account in 3d though I think, as there are numerous isographs/morphs of a single cube disassembled into 2d. In the cube, every image is adjacent to every image but one... so one thought is that the correct picture is opposite of it's correct position on the cube? the cube is constructed so that 1 is opposite 3, 2 is opposite 4, and 5 is opposite 6, so it doesn't seem to fit the patterns we have so far. I'm trying to think of other ways of interpreting the cube as well. Another thought I had was using rainbow ordering, ROYGBIV... It's used in sound wiring to discern multiple channels. I.e. channel one is a red wire, channel 2 is orange, etc. Any thought's on that? We do have a new color for side 2.
**edit ** the color idea doesn't seem to work either :/

Mud could you update your composite image from the other thread and reattach it here? At work at the mo and limited resources.

*edit - Also with the new colour we know at least it has nothing to do with the metromap as we have purple and blue. Im inclined towards the rainbow idea at this time

I'll try. I'm at work myself and may not be able to work on it for another hour or so. Can anyone pull out the eye image 1/6 from the flash and post it for me? Otherwise I'll have to find and install a flash decompiler here at work. :p If no one has one handy, I'll take care of it though. Oh, and the newest version of the 2/6 image

cool, don't mind at all. Smile

Ok, managed to pull out the Eye file, so we could have it with all the other colors and added it to your composite Withe.

Ok, the second one shows the letters we know overlaid on the corresponding picture. The positions aren't necessarily correct, as we know.

**Update: Had another thought. So far, we've had helps with most images. Eye, N(egative), the Z's for 5/6..... What about the Rubik's snake that accompanied #3? Could 3/6 be a snake? and 5/6 asleep or sleeping?
would give us I, N, S, A/S, __,__
