 		Turnip Recipes
Does anyone happen to know any good recipes for making turnips? Good, assuming that it doesn't actually taste like them? I was planting a garden this year and was stupid enough to plant a ton of turnips, and now I don't know what to do with them. I'm sorry if this doesn't pertain to this forum at all...but it's in General, right? So...hahahhaa

Ditto that. This may be General, but it's Administration -> General. This would make more sense under Various & Sundry, except this doesn't make much sense at all...

Sorry I can't help. I'm not big on turnips. I am curious tho about what you thought you were planting instead of turnips? And were you expecting said other vegetable anxiously only to be utterly dashed when all you saw were turnips?

 		You could always donate them to charity or create a turnip-based ARG with them...

 		Well, I was going to the store to get peas and carrots, and there was a 4 (packets) for a dollar deal, so I got 2 things of peas, one of carrots, and then I couldn't decide what else to get. So I was looking at the different stuff, and the turnips looked pretty cool with their purple top and white bottom. So I was like "Ok, I'll get those!" but I had no idea that they tasted so revolting.

Well, that's what you get for buying turnips.

Fry them in garlic and olive oil, maybe a little rosemary. Add parsnips.

 		Oooh, that's a pretty helpful place...but I was thinking the advantage in asking people on a forum was that I could actually ask them what it tastes like.

I was thinking I might set up a turnip stand at the end of my driveway and see if they sell Very Happy . Or else throw them at the annoying neighbor kids...

It's what we do here, we play them. But I'd go with throwing them at neighbour kids, then blame THEM for the turnip damage....
