The Quest of Thrones Online Adventure

The Quest of Thrones, an online adventure based upon George R. R. Martin's epic fantasy cycle, "A Song of Ice and Fire," is starting soon. Though not a full-fledged ARG, it certainly looks to be a fun diversion, especially for fans of Martin's books. It even has prizes!

While I think this will be a lot of fun, this may perhaps be best suited to the "Timewasters" or "various and Sundry" section, instead of N&R. Mods? Agreement or no?

Hmmmm, interesting. From the rules it seems that the challenge will be to track down images of the characters across various websites.

Yay, interesting diversion until Feast for Crows comes out. I have to find Cersei and all the rest of the Iron Throne gang. *sigh*

Alas!

The quest is only open for residents of the US and Canada.

If one or more of you overseas people would like, you could post the five characters that you are need to be searching for on this forum, and may be you will then get some help.

I read about this contest and ended up picking up the first book and I'm really enjoying it!

I have a question, though. To those who entered - is there a site for your kingdom that you report to? I thought I wasn't enrolled in the contest because I didn't see an e-mail about it until I realized it was in my bulk folder. This made me realize that any OTHER e-mail I might have gotten was probably deleted since that stuff only stays there for five days or something like that. So yeah, I have my five characters located, but I don't know what to do with the URLs... Help please! Thanks. Smile
