The OTHER Unfiction Film Festival

First of all, I'd like to say that my idea for this came from this thread.

I'd like to propose a festival of sorts for all of the budding filmmakers in the community (such as myself), in which would be entered ARG-themed films. I'm thinking that there could be a variety of categories (drama, action, doc/mock-umentary, comedy, etc.) and that all films would be entered to and hosted on a central festival website. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a competitive event, but it could be.

I'm just throwing my preliminary ideas out there. I'd really like to get this off the ground, but I'll need some help. Anybody interested should just reply here, PM me, catch me in IRC, come to my house and kidnap me, whatever. Well, time to hit the "Submit" button and hope for a response of some kind! Laughing

My top picks would be:
2001: A Space Oddesy, Blade Runner, Silent Running, The Legend of 1900, Dogville, The Big Lebowski

Some other decent ones:
Time Bandits, Brazil, Adventures of Baron von Munchausen, Memento, Lost in Translation, Dr Strangelove, Boondock Saints, Fight Club

Actually, Runge, I think he meant making, like, our OWN films.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I guess I didn't clarify that very well. So, yes, this is for the aspiring filmmakers in the community.

I think that would be cool. I don't really have any ideas for any films but if I do I would love to go ahead in make it.
