My guess is Mental Health Services. The PM has gone off the deep end.

3am eternal

ok my head hurts. it's 3am here - i have to put this down and pick it up tomorrow. As of now i am:

a). semi expecting a vinyl parcel tomorrow.

b). wandering who i should be calling.

Unfortunatly i'm afk most of tomorrow. I expect chaos here, in my comments, in my inbox, etc when i return tomorrow night.

[edit]while i'm a gamer i'm new to arg. can anyone tell me what a PM is ? Prime Mover is my guess, but i'd like to know for certain. ta[/edit]

sleepinggiantfoundation.com

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh......!

Are ARGs always like this? I'm meant to be going to bed and instead i'm reading sleepinggiantfoundation.com which seems to be total nonsense. And yes i think i am meant to call islington tomorrow but since i don't know his number and i'm out all day this will be tricky. i have left my answer phone on though. i have nasty feeling he has my number so we'll see what happens.

How much do any of you know about Duckie? I keep getting strange references to him.

Triscal D. Islington
The Duck Knows Where They Are?
Royal Duck hunt
The Ghostly apparition of the Duck with the infinity sign.
"There are many quacks and cranks"

Sorry Duck if I'm off, but something is strange there.

I'm away for half a day and everything falls apart? Something seems amiss here. Are we sure that there isn't an ARGjacker making the rounds? All of my emails came from Islington <t.islington@gmail.com> and were well written and understandable. I don't know what to really think here about the people who can't type or stay hidden behind the curtain (if they really are behind the curtain at all).

Yes Varin, I'm agreeing with you.

#1 Why totally break character and go down this spiral of confusion?
#2 Why mention things that noone has absolutely no idea of?
#3 And if it's imploding, why not just end it like "Sorry, can't go on" instead of leading everyone on a wild goose chase with more references to stuff nobody has any idea of?

I still have hope, but it's looking like its reaching critical mass, even if it's a jacker. It's looking more like a study into mass hysteria than an ARG right now.

ETA: Looks like someone is trying to plant the seeds of doubt.
I'd like to pick whoever it is's brain for a few.

Mountain Girl: I've been around since ILB, all the way back when I went by Sarah Roberts, then Sarah Kiddo (please don't ask)
It would be odd, fingering myself as the PM by basing the thing on my own school/nickname, but as I'm actually convinced the PM is insane, and this game is making me insane, I could quite concievably be working on the game every time I'm not trying to solve it, and just blocking it out.
I must be very subconscoiusly good at flash though Wink
OK, just a very roundabout answer, I'm legit, and there was a point this afternoon I was actively considering that I was actually making this all up (no sarcasm here, I really did consider it) so I guess I am going insane.
Toby sent me a nice little shopping list via email! Woo.

Was it from the address you had received mail from earlier in the game?

Also: What's a rixla? What have I missed here?

Ok, then, with that AIM conversation between "evilwurm" and "orkid" orkid mentions BFG. I hope most of you know The BFG is a book, and since this games seems to be about finding books...

Also, when orkid referrs to "the curtain rose too early" Maybe it has to do with the fact that people found the index, and had their hands on clues too early? Also the word Rose, there have been many other clues with the name of a woman "Rose"

ok. Now im in.

Edit: toby's email was toby.godden(AT)gmail.com

Another edit: And i replied to THAT email with "This isnt who I emailed before" And never got a reply.

Duckie,

How did he send it? If it was an e-mail, what was the address? How did he sign it, or did he?

Duckie: I don't know what the hell is actually going on here, but I'm starting to think that the whole thing may be the work of a Colgate psycho very elaborately stalking you. Very Happy

[Anyway, in honor of the good times: ]
