From what wiper is saying it sounds like this guy Toby is in the band teriyaki (who are on vibration13's website) and trying to promote his band (as he told wiper he had distributed CD when busking). He also described his 'arg' as 'viral marketing'.

So I would spec that the 'game' may be (or have been) intended to generate interest in the band. But why distribute all those addresses? And why all those wierd, mis-spelled crazy emails and messages?

Wiper, I'm sorry but I must confess I am sceptical. This is becuase your story of events is so amazing, and becuase it wouldn't be the first time that a PM would post pretending to a be a player of his own game (which is against the rules, and bad form, but then so is handing out all your players' information)

I know that you have exchanged e-mails with Graeme on the Lazylaces board so hopefully he can confirm whether or not you are truly genuine.

As always - no worries about the scepticism! Hopefully I'll be able to prove that I'm not Toby, though proving that I *am* myself should be relatively easy; actually, seeing as I gave them to Graeme, I might as well copy the links I gave him, as evidence of me being Yann Best:

> I'm a regular on http://www.rllmukforum.com as 'Wiper'
> On http://www.myspace.com [search for Yann Best]
> On http://www.deviantart.com as yprbest
> As the webmaster of http://www.i-otaku.co.uk
> On the rllmuk forum photowall - http://ooer.com/photowall/ - as
> yprbest and wiper [I changed my username on the forum, but couldn't
> delete the old name on the photowall]

And, for what it's worth, my musical tastes for the last half year can be seen here:

http://www.last.fm/user/wiper/

So at least you can see I've not listened to anything by Teriyaki [though I realise this only proves I've not listened to anything by them on my PC, but there's not much I can do about that!]

I'm excited a new character has been introduced. Let's not let the frustration of the weekend jade us against the progression of, what's taking a turn to, a great game.

I am not a character!

(Question - as I'm new to ARGing I'm not too sure: am I technically a character even though I only came into this, er, plot, by accident?)

wiper/yann

Finally added another update (although you've seen the comments before the IP info might be interesting):

http://lazylaces.com/article.asp?p=1409

And I thought there would be no action today. Shame on me.

Graeme/Lazylaces.

It should probably be restated that Unfiction is Out of Game. That is - only players are allowed to post in game forums. No characters or PMs are allowed to post in threads about their game. So both Graeme and wiper are players and do not have any behind-the-scenes information except what they learn as players.

edit: spelling

I'm not a character, so is that a problem?

I don't understand how you would think that it would be.

what a character

I'm in this totally unintentionally, although feeling like I might have been made a "character". I can't vouch for wiper at all.

This is to Rogi.

Rogi, I have read the text. I simply place things here because a few members at LL have been treated rather harshly here and have asked me to do so. You may want to think about staying at un forum before jumping to conclusions at LL. I know what the text means. I can multi-task by playing the game and keeping abreast on both forums. i choose not to osterisize anyone that is why i choose to post here and there. if you have issue with it make a reference guide all can refer to or stick to your own site! No need to be rude!

If you have an issue e-mail me or pm me, don't make a spectacle of yourself on a forum that sees my effort in this. Unlike other I'll choose not to mention.

Features: Live Music, DJ, Dance Floor

i find it odd that monkey cafe is selling the 'club' aspect and nowhere could i find that they were an actual cafe.

Change of direction

Still waiting for my registration mail, but in the mean time:

Received another e-mail from the Toby adress yesterday. this time it was signed by Toby himself. The mail is coherent, yet competely different from the storyline so far.

She's a beautiful young girl in Swansea. Very special little pixie of a person, I like her lots. Just keep asking and the answer will come! xToby

So, I'll keep asking I guess.

Couple of thinks I'm working on:
- 2013 as the name of a website (wikipedia!)
- Holly from Swansea

Busy moving house at the moment, using the little time I have to look for stuff, but no breakthrough yet... infuriating!
