Just click the words at the bottom of the "found" page, via book zero to get to the percipientagent page.

ETA: Just noticed #Percipient in the pic. An irc channel, perhaps?

There's also a word next to the face, but I can't make it out. (ETA#2: disregard that, it was just an embellishment on the word 'agent')
The hair looks a little Einsteinish to me.

Also, on the very nature of the word 'percipient'...who is it that has the perceptive understanding of things? Is that a philosophical reference?
A psychic reference perhaps?

The picture of the face/head on the 'percipient' site is from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. http://tinyurl.com/d8mob

The opposing page with the sketch of the (exploding?) head has 'The Voice' (kinda written in crayon) and the black square says 'Lucky 13' in it.

As far as the authors listed on the other page...I have read at least something from all but 3 of them. Some I have read all that they have written. Griffin and Sabine is the only book title (as opposed to author) that I noticed...it was written by Nick Bantock....a BEAUTIFUL book(actually 6 in the series).

Curiouser and curiouser.....

Percipient and Agent are terms used in ESP testing.

The Percipient recieves information telepathically from the Agent. Be that objects they are holding, looking at, or thinking about.

The first googled site that made sense to me.

Okay, so I was correctly on to the psychic reference, you verified it Jackalope. Now we must ask, why? And whom?

Of course adding the #13 to my search I come up with hauntings using the same sort of defined nominclature.

Same site different article.
http://www.survivalafterdeath.org/books/salter/zoar/5.htm

It has a list of propisitions below:

Quote:
(13) Apparitions of the same agent may be seen at different times by different percipients, and the conditions in which this happens vary. If the later percipients have no knowledge of the earlier percipients' experiences, and especially if the apparitions are seen, as in a "haunt", in the same place, there is something odd requiring explanation. These cases however are seldom veridical or suggestive of the activity of a recognisable dead agent, or of any material or quasi-material being.

Kinda weird. [Edit] With the different time thing, and how different people have seen him, this could describe Islington.

Hi guys, have been silently following this for a while now, posted for the first time at LazyLaces yesterday.

About the percipient page - there is some more writing at the bottom of the page with the drawn figure. If you flip the page upside down, it says "the voice".

I didn't know if anyone had noticed that yet.

How many of the 13 scribe pages exist?

I know of Mountain Girl, Withe, Yann, Graeme, Duckie, McGyver, Rowan,...ummmm....off the top of my head that is it....who am I missing?

I cannot wait until Shylilembrace gets her site up with all the info/links in one place. Will be so much easier on my poor noggin. Wink

ps--did you see my above post about The Prophet? Has that book turned up anyplace else yet in this quest?

But that's paged scribes. We also have Six, Varin(?), Toby(?)
and ORkid(?) as non-paged possibilities.

Edited to subtract: duplicate info from the above post.

I know this is posting out on a limb here but I read something about the Pied Piper pages that were briefly up on MountainGirl's site were going from 12 down to 1. Some thought that it might mean that we have 12 scribes and we are down to only 1 more needed.

Looking at the Current Moon thing, I noticed that it was at around 11.2% waning. So could 12 going down to 1 mean the 12% counting down until the moon is Empty or New?

Just a thought that hit me.

The authors from the BookZero page:

A. Niffenger, Neil Gaiman, Isaac Asminov, Jules Verne, Maya Angelou, James Joyce, H.G. Wells, Albert Einstein, St. Thomas, J.R.R. Tolkien, Rudyard Kipling, Alistair Crowley, William Shakespeare, Nostradamus, George Orwell, Plato, Hunter S. Thompson (when the going gets weird....the weird turn pro), Lewis Carroll (misspelled), Roald Dahl (note that Orkid mentioned wanting to reread Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and Thomas Paine.

The 3 authors(?) I did not recognize are:

R.D. Laing, Diane Duane, and Robindranath Tagore.

Also on the page was the title of a book:

Griffin and Sabine (by Nick Bantock)

And a philosophy:

Epicurean (misspelled). Epicurus was a post-Plato philosopher who taught that the point of life was to find pleasure. That the senses could be used to attain knowledge. Epicurean, by todays definition, means one 'devoted to the search for sensual pleasure'.

And 3 words/names that I cannot make out:

OKKIS (to the right of '2005'), andht (to the right of 'location'), and a totally unreadalble word at the bottom of the 'bookmark;.

ps---thanks for the list of scribes!
