Nope sorry mountain girl it is not Through The Looking Glass.

It's Alice. The original work.

Edit: Or more specifically Alice's Adventures Under Ground

Edit #2: Here's the site http://www.bl.uk/onlinegallery/ttp/ttpbooks.html

Quoted from Threshold the bottom link on the Triskalinks page.

Quote:

At the Threshold

"Many people hear voices when no-one else is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing." Meg Chittenden

Hmm, doesn't this sound like the picture from book zero?

Hey, this has to do with the pied piper convo with shy and orkid:

Orkid said "Where did those little children go? Into a Mountain." Mountain is capitalized like a name. Also earlier was the conversation about the game needed money and how it would get it. Mountain girl is asking for money. Also "orkidquantum: but, if the townspeople had honoured their contract, that would never have happened
orkidquantum: I guess the Piper was Justice
Withe Bartbi: but what was the rule, "be cautious, but trust." "

that rule was also just updated in mountain girl's scribe page with a link to her page asking for money for her house.

I know I'm posting like a madman at the moment but I was looking up some of the authors that Incog Neato and I didn't know.

Diane Duane is the only one that seems really out of place. From what I can tell she writes Fantasy Novels.

Such series as The Tale of Five, Young Wizards, Space Cops, and Cat Wizards. (I'm not making this up)

This is the only author I found for this name, but I'm not infallable.

Hi all, been folowing all of the new developments. I am new to the whole ARG thing so I don't know what all of the "rules" are. Is it normal for someone in-game to solicit money from the players? I sent an e-mail asking MG if this was all part of her in-game character and she assured me it was not. Is it possible that the PM found out about her troubles and decided to help her out by broadcasting them through the game? This all seems highly unusual. But then again i'm just a n00b. Wink

You do have to put in your address for registering. Maybe they send you out books. That would be novel Rolling Eyes, and it would get people to read. Something that is lacking in modern day society.

Edit: Well I'm out for the weekend. Good luck with everything (including your woes MG), and I will catch up on Monday.

It appears as though Toby now has a scribe page.
Perhaps we will hear something from him?

Also, Duckies page has been updated. In fact, it appears as though Duckie has been given his/her map. X marks the spot. You out there Duckie?

I am out the door....shall be back 2moro night. Don't figure out too much stuff without me!! Wink

Curiouser and curiouser....

on Duckie's if you right click and push play, you get an x marks the spot and the source code says x marks the spot.

and CampusClue.swf

Just as interesting, I had this conversation with xOrkid moments before the new scribe pages were enabled.

rukind88: I think the consensus is a new page is desperately wanted.
rukind88: like your scribe page, six's, and Toby's
orkidquantum: yes
orkidquantum: I wonder
orkidquantum: with all the changes
orkidquantum: will they turn up?
rukind88: maybe they will tonight or tomorrow. That will be great!
orkidquantum: hehe
orkidquantum: yes
orkidquantum: this is exciting isnt it?
rukind88: very
rukind88: I'm a triscaholic
orkidquantum: haha]
orkidquantum: yes mee toooo
orkidquantum: its come out of knowWhere
rukind88: what do you make of the "timecode" page?
orkidquantum: the old intro?
orkidquantum: the orwellian gate?
rukind88: it's blank, but the source is strange
rukind88: I don't know how to decipher the source
rukind88: the time code on the directory
orkidquantum: which one...
orkidquantum: give me a link
rukind88: www.triskabiblios.com/scribes/
orkidquantum: hmm
orkidquantum: maybe needs a decompile
orkidquantum: hehe
rukind88: how?
orkidquantum: get a swf decompiler
orkidquantum: you can download them for free but watch out for spyware
orkidquantum: and viruses and the like
rukind88: ok i'll try
orkidquantum: maybe a trial version
orkidquantum: but you'll need a copy of flash to do it...
orkidquantum: I havent got one...
rukind88: i have flash
orkidquantum: cool, just get a trial version swf decompiler then
orkidquantum: google for a reputable one
orkidquantum: and hack it open
orkidquantum: heheh
orkidquantum: (not that I endorse hacking of course)
orkidquantum: it's obviously something
orkidquantum: otherwise why put it there?
rukind88: of course. I'll be back in a moment.
orkidquantum: ok
orkidquantum: bye

orKid has a page, also.

Seems "I" is acknowledging her role as the first scribe and the one first down the rabbit hole.
Not sure what the Parchment lasts longer than memories might mean except that it may indicate the future importance of taking notes.
