(Isn't that Lapis Lazuli?)

I agree with Withe, the stones definitely look like lapis lazuli. According to [this site they are associated with the brow chakra. I'm not really sure if this is a clue or another coincindence Question

I wanted to expand on a post made earlier by Incog about six's scribe page. I looked up the other symbols.
Quote:
1) Kara- symbol of eternal life- Sikh OR Simple ring- symbol of eternity in many faiths.
2) Om- another symbol of the infinite- Hindu
3) Star of David- Jewish
4) Torii- Shinto
5) Yin-Yang- Taoist
6) Eight spoked wheel- Symbolizes the eightfold path- Buddhist
7) I dunno
Cool Latin Cross- Christian
9) Star and Crescent- Islamic
10) I dunno...in fact...I cannot really see it
11) Eye of God- Egyptian in origin but used by many faiths
12) I dunno
13/the center) The Lotus - a symbol of purity and resurrection in several faiths."

7-- I have not been able to find at all, I have looked everywhere
10--Khanda-Sikh
12--a version of the rosy cross used by the Rosicrucians
13-- resembles a Tantric Yantra- yogic-, but I don't know which one
I am confused on why these particular symbols are usd, usually something like this would include a Native American and Sufi symbol. So the choice of symbols is odd.
Also the symbol on the half page of the notebook on the opposite side of the authors page resembles a Triskele, celtic in origin, and usually stands for triplicity of some sort.
I don't know if any of this is useful info, but there it is anyway. Smile

with all of the current clues coming in based around the different religions i am starting to drift towards the idea of this being something to get us thinking about other religions

i'm going to agree with Greyling and say the stones are Soladite. They can reach a really deep blue which can look black (especially in pictures).
why do i think they're Soladite? see the white/blue veins? yep.
soladite=indigo=6th chakra (third eye) and mined in India (not exclusively).

there are my two cents.

maybe not to get us to think about/consider other religions, but just to open our minds and ask us to be better people. it seems to me like throughout this whole thing theres been an emphasis on unity- the unity amongst the religions regarding "The Law," the need for us to all band together for a common cause, etc.

my geuss is that the PM is trying to improve the world through this "game" that really gets people thinking. he/she wants us to think about our actions and educate ourselves.

Maybe game wants a word means rogi and graeme are supposed to talk to eachother. Like the expression: "Can i have a word?"

Just a thought. Dunno

I feel united with all who are following the search/quest.....except Raeden. (I have no clue who that is, nor do I think anyone else does),

Perhaps we must wait for this "Raeden" to join.

*Mountain Girl extends hand in anticipation of Raeden's commitment.

New moon, tomorrow night, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just thinking......

I've emailed him or otherwise posted "words" on several occasions.
If we can work out the 8 hour difference and set a time, I'm ready to talk if there is a need.

Also. On the 7th symbol for six' page...
The closest thing I can find for it is the state flag of Tennessee.

I googled "three stars in a circle" and hitthe "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. It took me here.
http://www.artcompsci.org/vol_1/v1_web/node40.html

Sample:

"5.3 Setting up Three Stars on a Circle

Although our code is written so as to function for an arbitrary number of particles, we initialize only three particles at the beginning of leapfrog2.C. This can be easily changed to a larger number of particles in different configurations. A few chapters later we will see how to read in an arbitrary $N$-body configuration.

It was Bob who was curious to see what happened when we place three stars equally spaced along a circle. After he had coded up the two-body leapfrog, which showed him how stable a two-body orbit of two particles was, he asked Alice whether a three body configuration would be equally stable. She said it wouldn't, and they all agreed that it would be fun to see for themselves. For simplicity, they gave all particles the same mass m = 1. "

What the? If it's not part of the our quest, what is it? Astronomy, what?

Also, this:

http://www.artcompsci.org/vol_1/v1_web/node51.html

Sample:

[Bob:] Now I'm ready to be brave and call the code hermite1.C. Rather than listing the whole output, let me use the diff program, which only lists those lines that are different.

|gravity> diff hermite1a.C hermite1.C
2c2
< // hermite1a.C
---
> // hermite1.C
30c30
< a[k] = jk[k] = 0.0;
---
> a[k] = 0.0;
33,34c33,34
< double rji[3], vji[3];
< for (int k = 0; k < 3; k++){

There is a description of a symbol out there that sounds like ours, but may just be based on an inaccurate wording of the symbol's variants.
It's the Druidic "awen" which is traditionally represented by:
/|\
Sometimes within a circle and/or including three dots or stars above the lines.
The description on some sites fits our symbol and the connection to Rune stones is something I'd like to follow-up on but don't know how to research very well.
Druidism is big in the UK. Any Druids out there who can confirm or deny this line of inquiry?

Hello everyone. I'm a LL migrant Smile

As for the world religions idea, I think that may be Islington's goal. On the homepage, he talks about the "ideal future." And perhaps a world where we appreciate other people's beliefs (which is what he's trying to get us all to do now) is the future we need to work for.
