On the darkened edges of the map, I can see the letters in caps A, B, C, D, E and F across the top and repeated at the bottom, and the numbers 1 to 9 down the left hand side. Have we been given anything that could translate into coordinates? A combination of letters and numbers?

Sorry for my terse posts...Im sposed to be working so Im dashing of entries in a hurry...

I mean the map with the quote of Blake on it, I saw them straight away.

They are very small and blurry, look in the centre line along the darkened border of the map, top, bottom and left hand side. Definitley ABCDEF along the top and bottom and the numbers 1 - 9 down the left.

Anyone else see them?

There does seem to be some smudgings on the map below the "modern Lodon map" (sorry if I'm being confusing), but they too small for me to make out, and when I tried to enlarge the map, the resolution made it even more difficult. Maybe someone else has a better tool for enlarging or can get a clearer picture?

Have to run, good luck to you all Very Happy

Well great, I go home for a nice 8 hour sleep and I wake up to find things have exploded again. I'll look into it.

I have an LCD flat screen monitor and I can see them very well...they are indistinct, but if you squint a bit and move the monitor a bit you should be able to see them....once you know what they are they're easier to make out. The C at the top is particularly clear as are the C and D at the bottom and the 5 on the left. Once you spot those, the shapes of the other blurs become easier to recognise...hope that makes sense!

Following on form this, I've been looking for reference to coordinates that would pin-point somewhere on the map. The Blake poem starts with, 'To see'....2C mebbe? If I place that point on the map, as far as I can tell, its Judd Street, but how thats relevant I have no Idea!

I'm pretty sure that Islington wants us to find a place using the letters and numbers, because the numbers and letters are from a completely different map. The map in the center is a lot lighter than the map surrounding it. He tried to blur them together.

EDIT: Perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough.

I also happen to be talking about the one with the Blake poem written on it and, yes, I'm also talking about your letters and numbers.

Not at all! I could also see the letters at first, but I really didn't think that they were in order. Heh. And I didn't even notice the numbers at all.

So, is it fair to assume that we now have to find coordinates somewhere?

Are they already on the site somewhere for is to find, or are they to come I wonder??

Well if the Tortuga forums link mentioned earlier has anything remotely to do with this hunt (http://forums.tortuga.com/viewtopic.php?t=149[/url]), then we do have some letter-number combos. The XORANDOR from that page is G5, A6, F4. Do those correspond to anything useful on the map?
