I've looked at the flash for the laptop in the trunk (http://supernatural.warnerbros.com/laptop.swf) and it looks like it doesn't even look at what you enter. You always get a "DENIED" screen when you hit the enter button.
So don't bother trying to get in now.

Here are the two pictures that come up pretty quickly when you load the laptop... just in case anyone was interested.

The whole sequence of the flash is as follows:

1) Supernatural
2) Pic1
3) Supernatural
4) Pic 2
5) Supernatural
6) Pic 1
7) Supernatural
8 ) Black
9) Supernatural
10) Black
11) Supernatural (drawn out until the laptop finally moves forward to display the screen with the "Hunters Blog", etc)

I also found it interesting that on the notepad they mention succubus but not incubus (sp) (the male version of succubus). Why just that one? And a lot of the notes have to do with women and the Devil. "The Lady in White", etc. Connection?

EDIT: The quote from the journel which goes "O great tree, O strong tree, Bring my Magic Goal to me." appears to be a Wiccin "Tool spell" used for "Wands".

And, on the same page, "Earth of the Green Field" (which I thought might be a title for a book) is actually a wiccan "collection chant". You can read more about it here: http://www.members.shaw.ca/kitchenwitch/kitchenwitch/magickal%20craft%20supplies.htm

EDIT 2: As far as the runes are concerned... I think you can find them here: http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/meanings.html. After a little deducing, you will see that it comes out to be "J/YUARTH THIS HOUS", which I take to mean "Guard This House".

I guess Im missing something. Where did you get the extra U for HOUS and the two S's I dont see any that the rune set that you liked to. I get the J/YUARTH, but I translate that word as written as J/YURTHT and you seem to be ignoreing many of the letters. are you not counting the ones with the x on them?

Ummmm...

Sorry about that. I wasn't making myself clear about which ones I was talking about. That's entirely my fault.

The ones that I translated are the ones that are on the page with the picture that is the same as pic1 of my prior post. I believe it's the second to last page.

Also, the ones with the "X's", while we are on the subject, appear to be related to "Rune Magic". I can not find the exact symbols, but the Magic ones are the only ones that I found that use the "X". I'm wondering if they may be two runes put together to make one. That's sort of where I'm leaning, but I'm still looking into it.

edit the runes are greek and norse according to my friend i however will leave the translating up to you all.

Thinking that possibly the runes are not spelling anything in particular. They are symbols on a set of rune dice used for readings like some do with tea leaves. If you read on the 20th page he is talking about consulting the dice...Just a thought

Runes

I've looked over every written language, ancient and modern and while many of the runes are very common in ancient languages of the germanic area, many of the characters are not found in any alphabet. I agree that its probably jibberish. That maybe we are looking waaaay too into this site.

35-111

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but when I google 35-111 there are two references to "Grazing Occultation" or the planet Neptune and it's rising date, hour:minute and the Azimuth of the planet's/object's rising position for that day's revolution of the Earth which these coordinates fall on October 28th and 29th, 2005

Just found it interesting.

On tonight's episode (Oct. 4th):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
At the end of the show, the brothers check their father's voice mail which says, in case of an emergency, to contact Dean on his cell. I wrote it down as fast as I could, I think I got it right. The number is 866-907-3235...called it but got an automated response telling me it can't be reached from my calling area. Anyone else care to try? I checked out the area code, it's supposed to be US/Canada toll free

Awesome episode, too...this show is filling the void in my heart left by X-Files and Buffy. Happy happy. Smile

I called it..I'll register in a bit..but this needs to get out there:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

"This is Dean Winchester. If this is an emergency, please leave a message. If this is about 11 2 83, please page me with your coordinates. <Beep>"

Trying to figure out what that means now.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
11 2 83 is the code to the lock in the trunk on the Supernatural website. Not coincidentally, it's also the date the brothers' mom was killed.

Uh...ok....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The only clickable I can find in the trunk is a newspaper cutout of Rolling Stones concert dates.

No sweet clue where to go with that...if anywhere...

i thought that it was important to note that the surname "Winchester" is from Anglo-Saxon origins. Early records of the name have been found in England, but more importantly in Ireland. This is because the folklore of the Banshee, a supernatural being in the form of a wailing woman that follows and curses a family for many generations, also derives from Welsh and Irish culture. Traditionally, the Banshee is female, and I think that it is ironic because the two main characters that are targeted and focused as victims are the mother of the winchester boys and the girlfriend of sam.

and a little side note: the Winchester house in CA that belonged to the rifle heiress Sarah L. Winchester. its pretty cool because it is literally designed to make you get lost in random stairwells that lead to nothing and doors that lead to nothing (or sometimes a 20 ft drop). its said to have mysterious and supernatural activity.

http://www.winchestermysteryhouse.com/

thats my 2 cents

Hi, was going to tell everybody about the truck combination, but see somebody already figured it out. The Rolling stones clipping is very interesting in that if you read the parts of the side article it's about a pretty bad accident involving a man and what appears to be his children, might be half the article and you need find the rest. Also a Wendigo is an American Indian legend about hunters being forced to eat their own when lost or seperated and they then become a Wendigo. It has been loosely tied to Bigfoot. Further, if you improperly kill a Wendigo you are supposed to become one. A shaman is supposed to free the soul of a captured Wendigo so the curse doesn't transfur.
