Cubefest report
Category: me, 07:13 PM

Sounds like the Cubefest was a great success! I had an email from "European Chris" to tell me all about it. He said: "The day was lovely and everyone else who is trying to find the cube are outstandingly nice people." Doesn't surprise me to hear that all the Cube-hunters are lovely people! The guys from Mind Candy also sent me over this great photo of Katie, who at 7 years old is our youngest Cube-seeker so far! Hi Katie!
*
Have to go now; we're about to set off on a quick wildlife-hike at dusk. So exciting Smile.

*With a picture of a real cutie and a mouse over which reads "Katie, our youngest Cube-seeker"

Firstly I'm going to have to stop using such anodyne adjectives in the future and secondly I don't know how Scarlett knows my monkier on this forum. The email I sent to her was signed 'Chris Martin'.

I think she's watching us.

That'd be an Ourangutan (an ape, not a monkey - if you call him a monkey he's likely to rip your arms off) [/discworld ref.]

Surly an orangutan would make a lower sounding noise rather than the higher pitched 'Oook oook'. If Clint Eastwood film's have taught me anything they've taught me that.

you really should read about the Librarian (due to the fact that it's turtles all the way down, and if one goes "Plop!" we're all screwed)

Oh, I didn't realised you were talking about Pratchett.

No thanks, they're terrible books.

*Chris runs away and hides as he knows how vehemently Pratchett fans defend Discworld.

well, you know, you could read the fFirst fFew pages of Hawking's Brief History of the Universe, in which he makes such a reference. (might as well ought to read the /whole/ book while you're about it)

I thought it was Wookies who ripped people's arms off.
