Well there were four people at 13.33....

There wasn't much else of interest other than the poster itself. Initially I saw one as I was walking up Exibition Road and though it was good that mind Candy was making a spectacle of the day, however I soon realised that there was nothing more to the day than the poster.

After Sylvia's message that there would be 'keywords' that we had to put together I thought it would be a treasure hunt...it was actually quite boring (although I enjoyed the talking in a pub part). In the future I would hope for a day of puzzle solving rather than poster stealing.

Yes, mine is on my wall now. Shame there was not much more to it. Incidentally, do you think it's at all relevant that the cityscape graphic in the poster and on the site is the same as on scarlet's blog?

I haven't played this game enough, but could the names of the songs be clues to key words? I don't know what "The GMC" stands for in PPC. or any of the other songs - but i do like the use of "Titanic" (One can only hope that no Celine Dion -- Theme song for Titanic--exists in PPC.)

Isn't this Power of the Three group quite secretive so they would have hidden the clues of where to go next carefully? Although that is their logo isn't it? Would they have created a bold poster just announcing where people should go?

So perhaps the names of the songs or the theaters are clues.. (note: the first letters of the songs is actually TESTBS - if you include Supernovae. ; ) )

As Monica most likely paid with her life for getting the image (the picture of the park entrance with the "hidden" layer of text) that led us to this poster - I think that there might be more to this. If the Power of Three were just going to announce to the whole world through the plain text of these yellow posters, why such a big need for secrecy and murder?

I am assuming the murder was related to the deleting information on Sylvia's key which was almost entirely destroyed.

Edit: I saw the previous posts - but I was thinking of possible relations to the PPC world not just our world. What does GMC, Titanic, etc - mean to them?

I read this as there will be something before the films in the cinemas listed and that it may be for more than just the 23rd? I know I'm stating the obvious but it does make me wonder whether the 'pre-show' support will be the same for each day if it does go on for more than the 23rd?

 		I think this is just the beginning of 'real time' clues. So far us in the UK have had all the action, but the cards are being sold across the globe so it make sense that the real life action stuff happens globally too.

Monica's message points to keywords, but the keywords are going to be from these real events across the globe. I can't believe the event in Canada is going to be anything more exciting than the posters in London and whats the betting that it leads us to somewhere in Australia, France or South Africa etc. Only after we've got them all will we find out what it means.

One other thing - did Monica make that message, or did she find it? I mean, is the message meant for us or for 3P people?

I've been wondering the same thing, Looosy. I did get the impression that she knew she was "running out of time," but did she know she was going to die that morning (giving her the heads up to make a clue for us)? Where did she get the clue to begin with? Who placed those posters? Is that message something she intercepted from 3P, or is it something she wrote to us? Shocked *brain explodes*

You are maybe overestimating how expensive cinema advertising can be. I've considered it for my own ARG uses, and still-screen ads can be had for a not too unreasonable amount of money.


Or, quite possibly just music over the speakers behind the still-screen ads. I have a feeling something will happen in these locations, and I'm guessing something along the lines of a music video playing before movies.

/me hopes it will be put online for those who don't live in Canada.

Good points. However fFor this we turn to the world's fForemost conspiracy expert, David Icke. (he's a riot, if you dont know his work Smile ) Icke's work usually goes to great length detailing all the most menacing and maniacal plot schemes in the world, fFrom alien lizards, to the bastard children of jesus christ. Usually, the symbols he points to and dots he connects are very much plain old symbols you see everyday, the most common symbol being a torch. Because obviously only crazed lunatics would have burning torches as a symbol. er -- right. At any rate, Conspiracy symbols do tend to crop up in somehwat obvious places, like the back of a dollar bill.

So to answer the spirit of your question, I dont think it's all that odd fFor the third power to have their symbol displayed in a fFunny band's promo posters, no.

fFrankly, we dont actually know if this "Receda Approach" is actually affiliated with the third power at all. They may very well be some people who have randomly stumbled across something, and used a nifty symbol. Like Nirvana using angel references, or Pearl Jam using triangles. It fFits a theme and stuff.

And here's my speculation on "The Receda Approach": They will be perfoming covers of songs by Roll fFor Damage, Joya, Satine Noir, and others. Everyone is suggesting they will have pre-movie ads. well, maybe. or could be the music they pipe over the speakers while you wait fFor the movie to start. But that seems surprisingly elaborate. so maybe not.

 		I know we're all excited about the Toronto action turning up another clue - but can't help but feel we've missed some of the point? (Sorry guys should have been there but couldn't make it)

*Supernovae (why does supernovae have an asterisk here apart from it being another star reference? I can't see what it refers to...)

Along with the 'stellar performance' we're obviously being given a fairly hefty shove.

We were definitely told that the point of Monday was to pick up keywords to form a website. We haven't done this - they may as well ahve emailed us all with the website. And, as the Receda Approach site is more of a flyer than a website and gives no more info than the posters did then I think we're missing the point here.

Alas and alack, don't ask me what it is, but it's something to do wth Stars.

(If it's something about Mick Hucknall, I might shoot myself.)

Any suggestions as to where we might be supposed to be going with this? Dunno
