I've been spending a lot of time with Sylvia Salk, up until yesterday, when she went to stay with some relative or other outside the city. We talked quite a bit about you lot, actually. It's a little strange to find that you're up to things I don't know about. I'm constantly needing to re-evaluate what I had thought about you.

She also told me a lot about her husband and the work he'd been doing, and the circumstances that led to our rather unusual meeting. It certainly has me thinking about all of this in a new light.

So. With this new information from poor Sylvia, I'm going to try a little harder to get that book -- "The Third Power, the Archers and the Shadowy Masters Behind the Scenes." It seems like we may actually be on to something. I know I was supposed to get it from Cumber a few weeks ago, but he left me a note saying there's been a bit of a problem, and I've been meaning to follow up. I'll let you know when there's been a development.

Yes, it's ... interesting... that there are so many diverse contacts between Perplex City and Earth. I still feel terrible that she doesn't know what's going on with her sister, even.

Odd about the book title. I suppose Lencival's ''The Third Power, the Archers and the City of Dawn: An investigation into the Power of the Perplex City Cube and those who have guarded it'' could be a single study within the larger work, though.

I love the way her memories of the book title are getting closer and closer to the real one as she realises the truth behind all of this, it started off 'The Third Power: Some other scary thing and the socially inadequate conspiracy theorists' and now it almost sounds like a real book title Smile

On another note; why cant she get her arse in gear and hurry the hell up!

Yeah, it *is* taking a looong time...and I should know as I was one of the people who suggested Violet should look into the damn thing, and I've been away for what seems many moons.

[I'm back for the next week or two, btw. May I say you're all continuing to do a sterling job, and I'm glad to see that the Conspiracy thread on the wiki is now definitely the most interesting bit! Sorry I missed the London gig as well, but I only checked the dates once it had been and gone...]

As you were...
