I posted a bunch of clues I foud decoding the flashs from the CD not knowing if they were old or new in the IRC-chat.
G3N said that this one was new and of interest;
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They say light cannot escape me. But he can, and he still has his key, but he can't use it. Go save him. From, Stephen
and also he didn't recognized it when I described
Quote:
<MarkZpot> Did u guys solve the binary code at the card-flash showing queens of hearts (Rachael), Diamonds (Sarah) and jacks of spades (Victor) and of clubs (Ebert)?
Because in that very flash I found the binary code

Which I now, an hour later know gave me
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pretty Miss Pink
If I converted the code to ASCII and then took THAT value and Base64-decoded it!
*proud of myself *
Was proud until I was accused of BS'ing... *mumble, mumble *

Hi Markzpot.. while I don't want to undo all your hard work, I do recognise all that stuff from PG1. The quote from Stephen you mention is discussed here . And there was a command we had to find called prettymisspink , which we found by decoding that binary into base64, then to ascii . G3N's memory must be going
I don't think there's anything different on that CD, but it's good for puzzle practice for those who didn't play PG1, I guess! (I'm trying to make you feel better about solving it all )
If you need to find out whether something on the CD is from PG1 or new, as well as asking the PG1 vets, try taking a few key words from it and dropping into Search . That's how I found the pages above fairly easily. Because we don't always remember *everything*

oldsite ok so i used my own home.comcast.net account to rehost the old files
if a picture or file is missing its either because:
1 comcast didnt like the file name
2 i didnt get to it before my transferquota was met
3 it wasnt on the zip file
the site is home.comcast.net/~projectgateway04
i would suggest entering in by the frontdoor

Ah, ok. Thats cool - it just proves that I didn't just make it up ^^
Srry for trouting, was truely exhausted yesterday so I really didn't remember that there was a search-function *I nearly didn't remember that there was a forum, someting callled ARG or this little network called the internet, either.. :/*
Still - I got all the satisfaction of having beaten the puzzle - no matter if it has been beaten before ^^

Medic command prompt doesn't work any more... (meaning in this CD version, not like it changed recently)
you think it means something?
