I started exploring the LCP website, and noticed something unusual about the Mark of the Joker and Safe Bet fields in the Edit Profile page. When you place your cursor inside those field boxes, it doesn't start at the beginning like a normal empty text entry box- it starts 10 spaces after the beginning. I tried copying those spaces into Word/Notepad, but they are just empty spaces. It may not be significant, but it might indicate that whatever code you need to put in is 10 spaces.

[SPEC] Perhaps they are reserved for 10-digit phone number clues?

Has anyone else been playing poker and seen a card dealt face up. I saw it once with an Ace of Clubs. As the cards were being dealt this card showed for a fraction of a second as it moved from the dealer to the player. I actually asked if anyone had the card and sure enough at the end of the hand I saw someone did. Could just be a glitch. . . either that or I'm psychic??

I did this morning. Once you hit the R button it records all hands after then, and all you have to do is select it watch it. Give you the chance to analyze other players.... but I can't see anywhere you can enter a game number. I'm sure it will be useful, but so far it's only been useful to learn when another player might tend to bluff.

I don't know if you've already noticed it but if you zoom in on the blinking andadaughter on the front page you notice some hidden letters behind other letters. Together with the letters they're hidden behind they form the word: inchat.

So perhaps Lucy is open for conversation?

Observation re: login at different computer

As it's a Monday, and I had to schlep myself in to work to earn an honest paycheck so's I can blow my virtual money at Last Call Poker, I decided to check in on good ol' LCP.com. Logged in as normal, but this time on my work machine -- and then was brought to the birthday screen again. I am guessing it's a separate cookie for age verification purposes, and any attempts to view other pages on the site before proceeding is pretty much impossible. Smile

Just thought I'd note it.

Yeppers. I cleaned my cookies etc. last night and got the birthday screen. Also, I didn't get all of the clues under the characters until I'd played some poker.

I looked around his site, but I found nothing. Think it's a coincidence?

Only trouble is, fish00k/Jack of Clubs has been posting there since 2003, as evidenced here:

Hmm.

However, can we be completely sure that means there's no connection? I mean, they're using the name of a real musician (Omar Hakim).

It's a user ID name, not a name of a character, necessarily. Just like I could've picked Poker_Alice as my user ID, and like you've chosen Phaedra. It's homage in the case of Omar Hakim, because the character is named Trey.

Posts from 2003, at a macaddicts forum? Without further information, I guess I couldn't be totally sure, but all signs point to doubtful in-game connection.

Heh, the denizens of this forum were not made aware of this site until Saturday afternoon. Just about two full days have gone by.

An eternity, I know. Wink
