My EB Games just gave me the deck. Tell them what you need it for, maybe they'll give you another without making you reserve another game.

three times and I'm out 3rd deck. Nothing.
I wouldn't really mind if I had gone into this thinkning that I was only a small chance to get it. But the fact that the site said that you can get the mark by preordering kinda stings...

I managed to socially-engineer another deck from an EB Games when I was doing laundry in the same shopping area the other night, and I just unwrapped the deck to get the code and maybe give it to some non-U.S. player, up for grabs.
I am apparently cursed by thorn.atropa, because my joker is also freaking blank.
What gives?? This sucks. I really wanted to hand out a Mark to someone.
Ah well. At least the deck itself will go to Jinxie in LA. That'll be nice.

Right, this borders on false advertising...

I know this is a stupid question, but what about the other joker? Only one of the two jokers in my deck had the "mark."

One Joker is normal-looking, while the other has the obvious white block to print the code on.
That particular Joker in this latest deck I opened had nothing on that white block.

Anybody get a copy of the game yet?
I went to Gamestop and they said UPS hadn't got there yet.
I've preordered so many games that I know if they say it's out on the 8th, available in stores on the 9th, it usually means UPS delivers them on the 8th and thestore prices them and places them on shelves on the 9th.
I gotta go back at 3PM CST now. I really want to try what NedWhite told us last night in the IGN, Neversoft game last night.

My local EB told me yesterday that it'd be in today. So I'll be stopping by on my way home from work.

I just picked up my copy for Xbox. Nothing in the box or docs about the Secret of the Safe, nor in the menus on the game. But I did kill some elk, quail, and wolves, and am being attacked by a bear.

Oh yeah, EB Games is apparently offering a $10 mail-in rebate (at least on the Xbox version) too. Not sure for how long, though....

I got the rebate on my Xbox version too. The clerk was even surprised to see it, I guess its completely unadvertised.
Off to play!

Two hints were given:
"Go find Hollister" (from LCP website)
and
Find the ruined house near the mine in the badlands, pull a barrel of dynomite from the mine and place it next to the chimney. Back up and shoot at it to set it off. May be something to be found in the rubble.
(From the special poker game on Tuesday night).

According to the rebate slip, it's available on purchases between 11/8 (yes, I know they didn't even have them in stores yesterday) through 11/22, and has to be sent in by 12/6. The rebate is in the form of an EB Gift Voucher though, not cash.
