There is a Jewish Cemetery in LA, and the location in the footage looks like it.

Also there is Hebrew on the tombstone (giant one) that Lucy walks behind before Robert gets shot... did anyone else notice... the clock watch that she has is ticking backwards, I think... it is hard to make out of the movie as the watch constantly moves...

Ooooh, that's brillant. I just watch the video several times as big and slow as I could make it. Best I could tell, the watch looked like it wasn't moving. Perhaps it's similar to how Lucy's lips don't appear to move when she's talking.

I'll go take a look. Was talking to someone while I watched the video and didn't pay very close attention.

EDIT: I took a look -- it's too blurry. I can make out a nun and what appears to be a mem, but that's it. It's all blurred.

I'd venture to guess that they may just have picked it because it had nice gravestones.

EDIT THE II: Someone just pointed out in IRC that there are a lot of WWII connections, so then again, maybe they didn't.

im gonna go frame by frame and see what I can see in the graveyard
maybe that will give us a clue to where they filmed this thing.

1) There is a statue head which would never be found in a jewish ceremony. You are not allowed to have a image that could be looked at like an idol.

2) 1 tomb says Phillips with a statue next to it which is once again considered odd.

3) There is a Cohen in the graveyard, but than again there is always a cohen.

4) when they run away you can clearly see

which is pronounce ESTER BAT MOSHE ARON (Ester the daughter of moshe aron)
Next in English it says Beloved Mother Esther
not sure of the date looks like 1823 - 1957.
If we find this one we might be able to find the location of the cemetery. On the last name we know that it ends with a K

In one shot you can clearly see another statue and a magen dovid over the shoulder (Jewish Star)

Im starting to guess they brought in all of these statues themselves.

He is dead next to a tombstone that says Custer with no other information.

Next to Custer is Mitchell Crowell and for some odd reason when they move the shot there is that statue again!

Anyone know anything about that statue that keeps going into the shot it just does not fit with a jewish shot and after being in multiple shots may be planted on purpose.

The cemetery in the video is "hollywood Forever". It's a very nice place where they show movies on summer nights. Plus one of the Ramones is buried there =) <Plus many other stars>

The Tombstone Hold 'Em cemetery is obviously not the same one as in the video, seeing as how Lucy's stepping on a rather large headstone with the cross at the top. You'd think that the meeting would be in a graveyard she's familiar with, the one where The Dealer taught her to play. But then again, it could be on the other side of the country.

Most major cemetaries in the LA area have a section set aside as a Jewish cemetery (next to the front gate, has to be separated from the rest of the grounds by a walkway/sidewalk) that has been properly concencrated by a Rabbi. Has to be at the front. Large Jewish population connected to Hollywood.
