(877) 284-5272 LAPD From Clay's police report.
(877) 284-5271 LAPD Fax From Clay's police report.
Neither number works, but given that they are both 877 numbers (and not the real LAPD numbers), I would expect them to work in the future.

I get tuabo13 or puabo13 (not sure) at the end of the message. However, my cell phone does end with a "Call Failed" message, so I think the error is legit.

The phone wouldn't ring in the first place if it was not a real number. This number rings twice before it picks up...hmm...

Depends on the kind of error you get. I have gotten rings before a "no longer in service" message before.

As most probably got, I received a message from a friend of the Brown family, then thedealer, who sounds remarkably like Snake Plissken.

In case you haven't noticed, 5829 is L-U-C-Y on the telephone dial.

That's strange, I got the normal cannot-be-completed voice.

I tried the contact phone number from the lastcallpoker press release
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12426
Ace Communications
Tom Ghepetto, 415-267-6986
It's a voice mailbox with "Tom" answering. He says leave a message. I'll get back to you. Thanks.
After creating a message press 9 and you have other options.
One option is to press * and then you can try other extensions.
I tried a couple other mailboxes but they do not seem pertinent to the game.
But here's what I found.
6985 blank mailbox. no greeting
6987 A voice mailbox for Clayton Homes (Clayton Holmes?) at present all sales reps are busy please leave a message.
6988 Asian language? Long message…. I hung up before listening to it all.
6989 Arleen Shu
5289 (LUCY) Invalid mailbox.
Enjoy!

hee hee...I did the same thing. The lower numbers, 6381-6984 are businesses, too. Garage Magazine, a work from home scam, and such.
Blah.

Can anyone grab a recording of this message? I have lots of co-workers from China, and I managed to get one of them to listen to the message, but she said she could translate it better if she could listen to it several more times, and I figure a recording is the best way to do this. From what she could quickly translate, the man on the line is talking about the Bible and claims to be a priest, so that seems to be a tie-in with the Preacher. He goes on to talk about a court and the validity of a document, she thinks, but again, she needs to listen to it several more times to make sure.

I'm guessing this is Vietnameese seeing as how WTF616 and Tony are mentioned as being so.
However, as somebody just pointed out to me, there is mention of something going on in China so...
I have friends at work who speak Chinese, I'll slap this in my mp3 player and run it by them.
