In the 'Lost' entry in Victor Aldridges profile, it mentions the mechanic/caretaker of the junkyard "driving up to Las Vegas". Please forgive both my complete ineptitude when it comes to American Geography and inability to scan previous threads to see has this been answered already, but is it a given that the disposal of Victors body took place in Las Angeles? The audio recording on 'Wtf616' mentions Temple St, a street in Las Angeles.

I openly accept your derision and ridicule if I'm stating the obvious.

Great story SpaceBass, have you ever published anything/posted writings online? Just wondering.

What the heck is up with this poker site where all of the players are dead people? Why did Lucky set this up to happen after his death? What about that monster poker game he played after World War II? How much money did he really "win big" in that game? Or was it really money?

Be ye forewarned, as shown in the title this is some seriously wild speculation that I in no way expect to pan out:

....<snippage of good stuff>-...

Take care as well when you play with his friends, as they may have anted their very souls.

Spoooky, eh? BOO! Razz

That so needs to be on the dustjacket to the book version Wink

SpaceBass... once again you prove your coolness. (And not a bad stint of prose either...)

Wouldn't it be funny if everyone at 42 was just like "AW CRAP! REWRITE!!! REWRITE!!!! THEY GUESSED IT!" And everyone starts running around like crazy, calling every hollywood writer they can find to get the rewrite done in less than a month?

(And then the hollywood ending turns out to be:)

"Lucky just wanted to pass the time in Purgatory, whereas Lucy was the brains of the operation. She wanted to maintain control over the weapons factories in Guatemala, and Paco, only faking his death, was poised for a bloody takeover. As their fates hang in the balance, William Shriner swoops in, with his private Cessna, outfitted with small air-to-land guns and missiles, shooting the crap outta cigarette's puppet politico organization, saving the world from Darth Preacher, with enough time for curtain call for "Bonnie and Clyde!""

That's totally why I made the remark about fuzzymelon. Fuzzymelon2000 was a Cloudmaker who essentially busted out the main plot arc of the Beast inside of a week of the game being in full motion:

That post garnered pretty much the reaction you posited above, from the puppetmasters. Smile Well, except they couldn't really rewrite it ...
