addlepated,
I don't know how the heck you could read that sign, but if you can read that, can you read the text at the bottom of the Matt Viet fax? (It's the fax on Ben Roja's profile labled "A little jail time would straighten him out.)
When I zoom in it get's too pixilated.

I heard a rumor that BrianEnigma had archived copies of the old pages or something. Brian? You around?

As far as I can tell, though, they're not actually gone, they're just no longer linked, so you can retrieve them as long as you know the url (from your history or something).

For instance, here are some of Lucy's:
Little black book
and a daughter2
Unwelcome visitors
You always were...

Those do work for everyone, right?

I tried fiddling with it but it's pretty rough. I can't really make much out of it. Maybe y'all will have better luck.

The Guide ( http://www.intellinuts.com/lastcallpoker/ - shameless self-promotion) has a list of helpful links, including Brian's archives ( http://lastcall.netninja.com/ )

1. Vaquero: By the text file, seems to be a pimp, discovered from call to bail bonds from lucy's profile, by the sound of the call, seems to have arranged lucy's freedom.
Edit:- It was infact the freedom of one of his prostitutes (i have too many friends who play rugby to say hooker Razz) who gave lucy the number for american bail bonds

By the way... Vaquero appears to be Spanish for "cattle tender." Fits right in with "Good livestock Management Practices."

I'd always heard it being idiomatically translated as "cowboy," which is fitting for a poker game and an Old West revolver, isn't it? We've got Sheriffs and Marshals, a Cowboy, the Women of Ill Repute, the Gamblers -- all we need now is a Railroad Man and some Native Americans.

vaquero - cowboy, root means cow
caballero - horseman, root means horse

A cowboy is generally a horseman ;o)

but about the small text...i tried my best sharpening and selectivly bluring, inverting, changing colours, everything i can think of short of printing the image and using a magnifying glass (which im about to do) but dosnt ANYONE have an idea what this is?

edit: theirs also something on the top left corner, the text seems to be bigger, maybe easier to read, i'll play with it when i get home...

I've tried pretty much every trick I know to get it to be readable, and nothing is working for me. There's not much else I can do. At this point, I just have to hope that if it's a legitimate clue, they'll swap in a slightly clearer picture or disseminate the info in another way.

All I can make out of the small text is the second (possibly third) word seems to be 'waiting'. But, I'm blind, so....
