I understand the horror of copying and pasting the chatlogs. I ALSO understand the horror of READING every damn chatlog.

My request/suggestion is the following: Post your chatlogs in whatever format you wish.

At the bottom, since you sat through the whole thing (twice) and know what happened in its essence, could you please summarize the logs so that there's a quick blurb of what happened for those of us not wanting to read "Dealer deals flop" 8 bajillion times?

Can I make a suggestion?

When I put a transcript together of the Kink Coover game from Wednesday, I didn't bother recording hands--I just did a periodic Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C from the chat window at the table, and then pasted it into Word, with each grab on a new page. Each grab is just under a page long. It's then a fairly simple matter to edit out the redundant lines.

If you're in the peanut gallery at an important game, whether it be a tournament or a random appearance by one of the characters, it's quite easy to be doing that while everyone else is doing the talking. We've already seen that most characters ignore people who aren't at the table, so it's probably more useful for someone in the peanut gallery to be making these records than it is for them to be yakking about stuff and confusing the characters and people at the table.

Just a thought.

Yah, it'd probably be good to have someone in there just recording hands.

That's what I had done for the tournament (and a couple other in-game hands), but the tournament was just way too much to keep track of, with all the peanut gallery chatter.

And I know people were happy to be able to chat, but there were a lot of people who were able to observe, but their chat was disabled. It was not an equal situation for observers, by any means.

I was watching Wild Bill playing today, and I didn't notice if, when he got up, his last hand was the famous "Dead Man's Hand." We might also notice "card-signal" hands ala the one that was mentioned in Episode II (look at the recap).
