Hmm. I'd considered Tony Viet for the half-breed: his statement about how he speaks little Vietnamese and knowing the curse words "connected him to his heritage" had suggested a mixed ancestry to me.

There is, however, nothing else to support that theory at present, I freely admit.

My bet for The Sheriff is Benito Rojo. He's been the one that's been tracking Matt Viet.

He also seems to be the one using the fish00k handle, which in Viet's log has him saying that he's the new sheriff in town.

I believe fish00k is the sheriff (he even calls himself that). That being said, I do not believe Benito is fish00k, based on the Anthony Viet update calling fish00k "some white meat basement dork" and stating that fish00k got thrown out of a warez group because he was a lamer.

WILD SPEC: Could fish00k be hikerd00d? He has the motive for going after wtf616 and apparently the dead can at least interact in the electronic world.

Not really, 1337-ifying any o's in a name is pretty common, and two names with a double o can happen easily by chance, although i'll guess we'll find out on wed or sat
