Also because I've seen this question come up a lot, I don't think any of us here specifically asked to be a scribe. I think it's just Islington's way of saying, look I've seen that you have been posting (a lot) and have taken a real interest in where this is going, so here's a title and a little portion dedicated to you. Wink
I told orkid the day or so before i was made a scribe that i had no chance whatsoever. but apparently islington liked our convo and apparently he likes quoting me on my pages.

Looks like someone is getting a big head.

There's nothing wrong with being flattered. Very Happy

Release the peace people, let's not get snappy with each other, we're a happy little dysfunctional family and we're all in this TOGETHER for the long haul. Very Happy

I know you are but what am I? Razz

Seriously. The petty sniping, though kinda comical, is a complete waste of time.

Some of us are rude...some of us are not. Get over it. If your skin is really so thin so as to be harmed by an online chastisement....perhaps you should not be online. Wink

Some of us pay attention and run searches...some don't. Rather than hollering at them, PM them and ask them to pay attention and search before posting....and then ignore the redundant information. Does it really cause you harm? (Now, if someone repeatedly posts info that has already been put up....we need to tar and feather them). Smile

Everyone of us was once a neophyte to this quest. Most of us actually 'taught' ourselves 'how' to 'play'. There is soooo much info that the only thing one can really do to 'catch' up is to read the monster thread. Daunting, I know, but really the only way. So do not get bent out of shape when no one takes you by the hand to guide you through.....if this was done for everyone we would never get beyond the point we are now.

So, everyone, quit yer bitchin' and whining. Razz

Now, as far as the game goes....real world or no, I am very interested in knowing where the 'missing' scribes are....and what their role in this is going to be. Also, I am curious to know how many of the scribes are PM's as well....I have some theories on this but will wait and watch.

Carry on (without me until Sun.).....

Peace

Just for the record:
<------Not a PM.

The same goes for me, after 3pm today, I'll be out of comission until Sunday night. But I'll be raring and ready to speculate, ponder, and puzzle with you guys by then. =)

Maybe we should start a new thread just for everyone to vent their frustration on one another. No hard feelings, what happens in the thread stays in the thread. We'll get out a lot of this bickering where it won't affect the search, and everyone will generally be a lot happier since they can speak their minds about everyone else.

Show of hands?

No takers?

Okay.

May I reiterate this point:

.....(Hoping the bickering stops with a big round of Kumbayah... Wink )

GOOD GRAVY! I go away for a couple days and things explode.

There is new information, everyones at each other's throats. I think we need

to remember the POINT of this whole game. Islington reminds us to have tolerance and acceptance for one another. We must work together to achieve our goal. Our goal is not only to find the books, but to bring together our community of seekers.

We are to be the exemplars of kindness, patience, and understanding. The world is a very diverse place, but we are all the better for it.

Dear MG

Be calm and flow like a river, Girl from the Mountains. We were all just singing Kumbayah when you started talking about us all being at each other's throats. We're all happy happy friends here, right?

Now, everyone, 1, 2, 3 ... Kum-ba-Yah my Lord, Kum-ba-Yah...

xx

So for those of us who can't just hop across the pond for a romp in London, I think we'll all have the chance for a go. But what about the India one? I don't recall anyone thus far being located in India. Hmm . . .

Didn't Islington say he was from India somewhere...or the receipt that greame got was from India. I cant remember the exacts but I remember India and Islington corresponding

Graeme's receipt was on Bank of India stock.
And
Toby said he spent his youth in India.

Tee hee, sollune! Louder! Louder!

Okay guys. Before we let this chain reaction get out of control, could you have Michael come on in. I think he's tired of all the rowing.
Everyone's bruises should be healed, now.
