Call me crazy, but are we reading too much into this? I mean, could one explanation be: Iz was setting up the livefeed and was just testing out his webcam with a collection of objects which came to hand? Then when he saw we were watching the feed on the chat (I was there) he took it down again?

Still _trying hard_ to remain somewhat rational

Speaking of reading too much into it - just for fun, I did a 3D render of the fourth picture captured. There's definitely a key on the side of the "base." And what looks like a book, maybe?

Just a thought, up until this point most of the scribe pages (I say most, b/c Orkid seems to be the exception. Unless her really name is Alice or something) seem to be made of references to the person or sn of the person to whom the page belongs. I'm wondering what, if anything, does the so-called "live feed" have to do with Jackalope?

P.S. While we're over-analyzing the pics, maybe the feathers in the ink jar (quills?) represent the scribes and the marble egg represents the monument in Angel square. Perhaps the key drawn on the base is an indicator of where the scribes should look this Sun.----really stretching here Smile

Edit: Embarassed Thanks Kylegumby, guess I needed to do my homework first!

I'm of the opinion that Jackalope was on to something with his work, yesterday, and this is Is' way of letting us know that. As evidence, I offer the fact that the "I found the key" page is still up.

These weren't just random objects. It's definitely a message.
If anyone saved the chat log and wants to send it to me, I'll try and see where the image went blank those three times and what we were discussing at that point.

Just several other questions..

On Rowans page is a picture that doesnt show up for me.. does anyone have that picture?

and Sajhit Roehampton signs with OBE ATS

OBE is out of Body Experience, but what does ATS stand for. Something with astral travel? If that is the case, then timetravel is pretty possible.

and how is this all linked in with each other ...???

On Duckies page is a scene of several mansions, does anyone know where this scene geographically is? Maybe the mansion that is clickable is a clue, but we then need to know where that mansion is... And maybe linked in with either of the characters used in book zero...

just wondering along

Greetz from the Netherlands

Had something to do with a Colgate University in the States, IIRC. Know it was in discussion somewhere.

hmmm looking at the college map and the image from the site.. and using the little lake/pond as a reference the clickable building could be the Delta Kappa epsilon building.

Then after that the flash goes to the left bottom corner... referencing to the map again, we end up at the delta upsilon building.

Maybe its a clue here?

going from delta Kappa Epsilon to Delta Upsilon?

just a thought...

Hi draghkar, you can catch up on the previous discussions about Duckie's page here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=191665&highlight=duckie#191665

I think it's possible that the idea was/is that there would/will be a key (or one of the other books maybe?) for Duckie to find at some point in the future where the x is marked.

Keep the thoughts and ideas coming Very Happy

Why do I go home! I just miss out on the cool stuff. AND IT WAS MY PAGE THIS TIME. To answer your questions, this is not something that I'm doing, I don't and will probably never have a webcam. So, no idea what's going on there.

I'll investigate the pics and the site and get back to you. Don't have too much work at the moment so wish me luck.

O.k. I just wrote my daily email to Iz, with my thoughts on the pictures. I thought that I should share them with you.

Audio Jacks -> Jacks -> Jackalope (Slang-ified)
Quills/Feathers -> Writing
Dry Erase Board With Triskabiblios Page -> Refrence to the Unfiction Triskabiblios message board posts
Stone/Egg -> Paperweight -> weight -> wait
Cellphone -> Communication -> Call
Key on Can -> The Key Can

put it all together...

"Jacks," "The Key Can" "wait." Call, Write, Post on the message board.

Could be way off base here, but those are my interpretations.

Better than anything I've come up with on the subject.

Toby has posted in his Blogspot with a grumble that he cannot join the Chat Room here.
http://vibration13.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_vibration13_archive.html

Personally, I'm not too keen on the idea of the Chat, as I feel those of us who are not there at the time may miss out on something. Just my opinion, but I feel that it is by everyone having access to all the ideas, that people spot new things. Is it possible to start a new thread where a record of the chatlogs is posted?

I don't understand why Toby doesn't post in the threads in the normal way like all the other Scribes do, if he wants to contribute. Is he not allowed to?
