I can see it now. Only there needs to be a big thunderstorm going on before the guy shows up. And they should have just missed the last bus home so they are stranded in Islington in 2005. All hope seems lost and Book Zero will never be found. When the guy appears with a spiral bound notebook, claiming it's been in his company's possession since 1970 (there's the connection!) with strict instructions to deliver it at 6:30pm on Sunday 16th October 2005 in Angel Square, Islington, to someone called 'That Dead Dude'.

This is Islington we're dealing with after all - make no assumptions, and don't be surprised when you find that he already gave you the book the day after tomorrow... The whole point of the stake-out idea is not to surprise Islington, but to see what he does to outwit us and confound our expectations once again!

Not sure exactly what to make of this, but someone signing themselves as Orkidx3 has posted the following over on Lazy Laces:
Quote:
all very good at this arnt you. nearly there kipper holds the key

Sorry for being a skeptic, but couldn't basically anyone leave such a message? What I mean is, there's no way of really knowing if Orkidx3 is Orkid, is there? Anyway, just thought I'd leave it in as part of all the speculations - since we're just waiting for Sunday anyway Razz

Can only say that it was definitely there a couple of days ago, but can't say for how long it's been up. But I think it's just there because Triskabiblios was mentioned as part of one of the journal entries. Sort of a thank you for mentioning me/us. Although I could easily be wrong Smile

Pretty sure that orkidx3 name may be a hoax doesn't sound like orkids style. also though i'm still not convinced she's behind the curtain orkid helped me arrive at 630 pm when i miscalculated with my faulty math skills (i tend to miscount when i'm in a hurry).

@Rogi i got past the first page of your yellow brick road thing (barely) It's hard O.O maybe i'll look into it some more today would be nice to actually solve a puzzle trail closest i've got is level 90 something on Tricky's Riddle

Oooo, I can't really remember, but yes he posts at LL. Actually I remember that I first thought Kipper was Yann - *lol* - but I think the way it is, is that Kipper works for Toby and had seen Islington there at some point - something along those lines Embarassed

Yeah, that's what I thought too, but when Graeme reacted, I thought "just maybe..." Very Happy

As for Orkid, I'm still undecided on whether or not she isn't behind the curtain Wink - but that's not that big a deal since I am sure she's on "our side", i.e. she'll help us figure things out if she can

Oooo, lots of interesting info coming up over on LL - too excited to quote, though, but encourage all of you to go read Very Happy

Edit:But also slightly confused as someone called Orkid12 has a webreference to kipper.com, whereas Kipperloony has a myspace.com/kipperloony Confused

Will be back with more on info on Kipper if I can find it among the many long pages at LL Wink

Edit: Hmm, okay I was off the mark on Kipper/Kipperloony working for Toby. Instead he said "i Know toby because he is a friend of the manager at the CR [Canser Research, I think although starting to lose faith in my memory] shop. I also work there. I was also there when yann selivered the package"

apparently kipper is a lazy laces poster who said that the key was a thing rather then a word. i wouldn't know as i don't go there. Although it is kinda fitting that Book Zero would be data rather then actual pages.
Seems whoever is supposed to record where they are 13:13 is 1:13pm
make sure to see everything there.. seems we were right about sunday or "sonday" (might have something to do with the origin of the word. it's norse i just can't remember what the root is. for example wodensday thorsday freiaday)if you prefer. i have no idea about jackalope (anachronistic) and map. though they seem to have something to do with the location.. i'm hoping we can find out by sunday.. i'll talk to orkid later if i can catch her.
