found ravenscroft day

Quote:
John Robert Parker Ravenscroft, OBE (30 August 1939 – 25 October 2004), known professionally as John Peel, was a British disc jockey, radio presenter, and journalist.

He was one of the original DJs of Radio 1 in 1967 and the only one remaining on Radio 1 at the time of his death. Known for the extraordinary range of his taste in music and the occasional mistakes (such as playing records at the wrong speed) that marked his shows, John Peel was one of the most popular and respected DJs in the world. His influence on alternative rock, pop, and dance music is widely acknowledged as being incalculably large.

Peel Day

In August of 2005, the BBC announced that it was declaring October 13 "Peel Day". "Peel Day is about celebrating John's legacy and his unrivalled passion for music," said Andy Parfitt, head of BBC Radio One. It would involve several gigs across Great Britain. The BBC said that it hoped that it would become an annual event.

John Ravenscroft aka John Peel. Peel's day aka Ravencroft's day. Not quite sure how it's relavent more here:

So we are going with the time of 13.13 as per Orkid's email....but how does that tie in with 1790pm in Iz's Notebook?

Confused.....

well then maybe something is happening at 1:30 tommorow and 630 saturday.. or maybe it has to do with little mister anachronistic (aka jackalope)
It could be pointing to the fact that time doesn't matter as much as we think it does. Our lives are ruled by our watches basically.

I think Toby has to somehow be involved either with recovering the notebook or look at it after it's found. His scribe page says, "Toby: I have something to tell you. There's more info on the disk hidden in the notebook. Hope it doesnt come as too much of a shock... Ixlington"

I wonder if ThatDeadDude could manage to just hang out for a bit at the monument tomorrow at 1:13 pm to see if anything happens.

And what do you think "solid ID" is?

EDIT: and perhaps the hunt will start at 1:13 on Sunday. Maybe it'll be a scavenger hunt. After all, the compass image said, "I am your starting point." So maybe the seekers start there and at 6:30 they'll reach their final destination and receive the key.

I like the scavanger hunt idea it seems to fit in well with what we've had so far.

Yeah, I kinda also think it's literal - evidence that you're you. Though how you prove that you're the same person than posts online I'm not sure.

As to staking out the monument, I dunno, maybe. Just not sure what excuse I'll be able to find for getting out of the office.

Actually, I think I have a day off tomorrow, so maybe. Probably won't have anything better to do.
