I have to gently disagree, Dragonfly. Tomorrow is the Full Moon morning, and I expect something to happen then at some location, online or in the real world. It says:

"be ready on the Full Moon morning"

not

"be ready on the next Full Moon morning after the one that's happening tomorrow, cos I'm not very organised".

Plus, if we're still dithering around on the interminable search for Book Zero with no further progress past the current page IN A MONTH FROM NOW, I know where I'll be (and it won't be here)...

Struggling to retain my Zen-like composure in the face of life's ups and downs...

re: erica - I can see it now! (bit like a magic eye picture)

Anyone got any ideas on the asian script on the alphabet?

And if erica = AMerica, could there be a ZIP code hidden here?

Just wondering

Law of Five

PS Also worthwhile going back over Jack's package in case we missed a clue to a map or a starting location.... look in the Mail from Islington thread...

EDIT: Nothing jumping out at me, but another thought occurs... more later...

Just thinking about you, Jackalope...

didn't Iz say you were anachronistic?

Definition:
1. out of proper time in history; referring to a time in the past
2. anachronic: chronologically misplaced
3. An anachronism (from Greek ana, back, and chronos, time) is something that is out of its natural time or that appears to be so. For example, if a play set during the Roman Republic portrays Julius Caesar using a computer, the computer is an anachronism.

Seems to suggest that time may interact with the map you had/have/will have. Ringing any bells? Is the map the anachronism, or is it you?

Nothing clicks Law, sorry. I like to think that Anachronistic is more of my lifestyle. Other than computers, I'm pretty much always behind. I'm not trendy, or fashionable. I am constantly late, both for work, and when I was back in school.

But then again, I also belive that I'm anachronistic in a number of different ways.

One of which is that, I've personally believed in some of the theories of the nature of time itself, that I'm reading from Practical Time Travel. Like the idea that there is more than one timeline. That while time can be measured from clock-tick to clock-tick, the amount of Feel's Like time is different. How can sitting in a classroom with a boring teacher for half an hour, feel like hours. How can when you're enjoying time with friends, the day just flies by in a what feels like moments. That idea alone would make us all Anachronistic.

Another is that, I often have premonitions of events to come in my dreams, and large amounts of deja vu in places I have never been. One such example is when my wife and I went to (I believe it was) Bush Gardens on our first real date, we happened across the Atlantis Adventure. The entire area was made to look as if this area was ancient and had recently risen from the water. I literally cried for like 10 minutes. I couldn't explain why, it just felt overwhelmingly like home. My wife then told me that maybe in a past life I was an Atlantean. I scoff at it now, but who am I to say. I know I had a connection with something there and I can't explain it.

Wow, that's really off topic.... Sorry, no map. Smile

Know what you mean, Jack. I've got the same with the Normandy landings. Unbearable sadness.

Well, this is gonna sound stupid, but im completely serious:

I SWEAR to you I was a monkey in a past life. or at least something that had a tail the functioned like an extra hand. So what u guys say is completely feesible to me. I can see how for someof us, this simple can't be our first time around, if that makes sense.

This has become another beast of a thread. I tried to get into Triskabiblios, but it's just impossible if you don't devote 24 hours of a day into this or so it seems.
Amazing. I bet you don't have anything to say in chat, do you? Smile

who me? I'm possibly one of the most talkative people in there, along with a few others.

lots in chat. and the threads are getting increasingly chatty as the Full Moon morning approaches, which may be partly what Iz is after. Drop into the 13books chat room and ask some Qs. I've been there the last few nights and there are always a couple of scribes around (Withe and Rogi chat addicts, and dragging me in too! (= ) I might miss tonight tho, as I'm going to see the Calgary Flames play Wayne Gretsky's Phoenix Coyotes at the Saddledome!

GO FLAMES GO

17:34 MT = 00:34 in London, where it's already tomorrow, and technically the Full Moon Morning. Who knows what it will bring?

[working on another map now]

Gotcha! You little so-and-so!

I've been racking my brains for the last 24 hours trying to decode that damned phone message. There is a 1a Community cehtre listed with Islington council, but Google maps puts its address in Rosebery Avenue away to the east of Islington, actually out on the eastern side of Hackney. And the rest of the message talked about Vine Hill, which is closer to central London.

I only cracked it a minute ago when I realised that THERE ARE TWO ROSEBURY AVENUES, and the second one is right in Islington! If you follow Islington High Street to the south-west, it becomes Rosebury Avenue. How could I have missed this? And just at the intersection with Gray's Inn Road, it also intersects with a little street called Vine Hill, which is presumably where our community centre is... In fact, if you look at the Angel Tube Station, and King's Cross (the 2 points marked on Graeme's map), Vine Hill forms a nice equilateral triangle with these 2 points. It's just NW of Farringdon tube station.

If you want to see for yourself, go to http://maps.google.com and type in 'vine hill london' (for the red herring, also try typing in rosebery avenue london).

So (assuming the phone message is kosher), we have a location in Islington related to the other points on our map to date. We just need a time and some idea of what to do there...

Help! More info required!

Law of Five

PS The phone message DID begin with the time 9a.m., although I had assumed that this was Graeme's machine telling him what time the call had come in at. My answerphone doesn't do that, so I suppose it is possible that 9am was part of the message, in which case we might have a location AND a time. I'll post this over at LL too to see if Graeme can tell us what sort of a phone he has! In the meantime, if anyone feels confident in my analysis (and I don't), they might go along to Vine Hill at 9am on the Full Moon Morning and see if a man with a funny triangle has a book for them... DeadDude?

Good deciphering Law!!

I think, however, the full moon morning would have been this morning. The moon is only 94% full now. I think we will know more when Graeme is able to post what was written in the book he received from Islington,

I truly think this is new. Go to http://vibration13.com and visit the Teriyaki page where we viewed Sophie before. There is a new animation called "Tsambika camcorder footage" At the beginning it just seems like an animated video to promote more of their (most groovy) music. If you watch to the end, there are a lot of Chinese characters and Triskabiblios/Tsambikos? appears to flash many times.
