8 cards or 7? Do we think we have all of the cards for 10/22?
No card has been found for P.F. Strauss (the Banker for 1929?).
Is it assumed that his(her?) card is still outstanding or nonexistent?
Given that we still haven't found a card for "Martina" (The kid for 1945), would this indicate that 2 cards are unfound or that not all characters get a card?

I don't know ... Tony Viet showed up at the poker tables to give us the Sarah hint (much like the hint we were given last week when we missed a card); and the clue at the live event told us we'd need the dates to reveal the FIRST card. I think we're missing one ... probably from '29.
PF. Strauss is a definite possibility. So is the blonde alibi. And I think it's pretty odd we haven't found Seamus (who I assume is the same as O'Kelly).

Since Sarah was found only from the Saturday Update and Tony showing up in a game after dying during an update...
We have found
1 new 2005 card
7 new 1929 cards
Total 8 cards. We (meaning you all, not me) will probably find additional onces on Wednesday October 26 update. Since Seamus was mentioned in the WWII updates, I would hope to see a card for him.
If M Halder has a card it isn't from trying a variety of name combinations. If the comic book artist becomes important in the 2005 timeline I'm hopeful we will get more clues.

Why Eight, You Ask? On the last page of the instructions found at the DC Live Event, was this postscript:

P.S. Some people's days are numbered. Keep that in mind, and you'll have all the information you need to reveal the first of eight new cards. Good luck.
I think it is debatable that we have found all eight cards, since the clues in DC led to the card of Jack "Machin Gun" McGurn, and 6 other cards were found from his. Sarah Tranh's card was not found using Jack McGurn's card, and was found earlier in the day.
Does that mean that Lucky couldn't have been a little confused about how many cards and from where? No. But this isn't in any way known for sure yet.
Obviously Lucky told us how many cards to look for this time since several cards were missed last week. I don't think one missing card this week is going to mean the kind of headaches we had last wednesday.
I hope, anyway.

This from a crowd (I'm not focusing on only Ariock here) who just a year ago was answering hundreds of phones a week?! And 20 puzzles every Friday? How quickly we forget. I know, I whined about Wednesday too, somewhere around here. I'm enjoying the slower pace, but that means we certainly have the resources to keep up with it.
Now, if weephun wants to grab the wheel again I suppose we'd have some more excitement, but that doesn't seem feasible in this drama. Maybe later?
That said, no idea if there's another card, but it's making me crazy I can't remember who the lost aviator was from the radio broadcast in DC. Probably will turn out to be some REAL guy and not a card...

After a whole bunch of googling, I'm repeatedly led to this guy, Carl Ben Eielson as the subject of a massive search and rescue op around Alaska and Siberia in '29:

No, his name is not a card.
I could have sworn the radio broadcast in DC said Atlantic and not Pacific, but who knows. I can't find any reference to a '29 lost pilot crossing the atlantic.
But hey, I'm learning history!

Same here - no one in 1929. And I'm sure it was Atlantic and that the search was in Newfoundland. But even opening things up to circumpolar flights and other oddit "firsts" still gets me nothing for 1929.

And probably Mickey's blonde wife too...

you mean Jack McGurn's wife?
In real life the Blonde Alibi he married was Louise Rolfe:

No card.

No, I think I meant Mickey. He is the one that killed Pete's Uncle: "he met that kid's uncle last February, when he was shooting holes in him with a machine gun" (from here ).
But you're right, in the audio file they say that Jack McGurn set up Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, so the blonde alibi must be his wife, not Mickey's.
Thanks for pointing that out

looking at Machine Gun McGurn's mail, there's a letter from P. F. Strauss. the F is rounded though, almost like someone was writing a 'P' and the pen gave out. googling for "Strauss" in connection with gangsters led me to Harry "Pittsburgh Phil" Strauss who could be P. P. Strauss. i've tried a thousand variations on his name in the search bar but haven't come up with anything yet
