Who's to say Violet won't keymail her sister, receive no response or a sketchy response similar to our update, grab Kurt, and rush out to the area only to have them both end up in the same situation as Scarlett?

I agree that we can get Violet to keymail Scarlett without technically betraying Scarlett's trust, but:
1. Violet finds out Scarlett was injured and is okay. Violet demands to know what happened, and therefore finds out we basically led her sister into danger.
2. Violet can't find Scarlett, gets worried, and rushes out there to her own demise.
Both of those possibilities make me uncomfortable. What else might happen?

Has anyone received a response from Scarlett? We have keymailed her individually to ask if she's okay, right?

I have done this. I also suggested that if she didn't want us to tell anyone because she was worried her dad would be angry, then she shouldn't worry, he would just want her to be safe.

And various other words to that effect. Smile

 		Mokey, I understand what you mean about Violet. It is a troubling situation. After much thought to your two scenarios, i concluded that:
1. If Violet finds out Scarlet was injured and is OK, Scarlet isn't going to blub that it was all our fault. She would put any injuries down to a minor hiking accident or something, not reveal everything that is going on. Scarlett is smarter than that, surely, don't you think?
2. If Violet can't contact Scarlett, she won't automatically decide she is dead or in trouble.

I emailed Scarlett on monday checking she was OK, and got no reply.

Scarlett's communication is in fact very sporadic, which makes very difficult to know if she is in a situation of danger or is just being lazy to provide new updates. It's curious that a similar discussion emerged when Violet went in a secret mission to the Recon Compound a long time ago. Lots of spec generated about it (some people said that Scarlett had been supplanted by an impostor, a clone or something). But nothing really happened to her.

If she is not and Violet or Sente find out that we knew something, our credibility will be discredited.
