You could write a blog. Just like this. I would pay.

Power trips are worse. They are the worst of the worst, I think; though, I guess, the tendency to be rude to waiters might just be a facet of power-tripping.

I agree. When you run into a power tripper, just stand up to them and watch how quickly the shrink before you. Self-aggrandizement only festers when left unchecked.

In other news, I suddenly remembered Bruegel's Icarus, which I now think is the greatest painting about death. What a beautiful sentiment -- here's the fall of this guy who soared too close to the sun, a mythic, tragic figure, and Bruegel paints him as an incidental figure, half obscured by the water in the lower right corner. You have to search to find him. In the meantime, he's basically saying, "Blah, blah, blah, another dead dude, but hey, look at this landscape! How cool is this!" This, after a whole career painting people eating, dancing, and pounding beers. What a cool statement on the nature of death -- that dude had his priorities straight.

k, so i think this forum is great and all, but its getting a little crowded in here. so if a mod or whoever deletes these things wants to, i think this one could be deleted. there are some other boards that we dont really need all that much like the facts one. thanks.

It's not actually hosted in the Triska (?) forum any more, it's moved... so it doesn't need to be baleeted, just removing the link from the forum would have the same effect. (I think)

Edit... so much for keeping my rank as "? ... !" for a long time... I totally forgot that I wasn't going to post.
