Okay, so I send the picture of me with the hat to small favors.

Then I pack it up and ship it to someone. How do I decide to whom to send it?

By the way, the hat is a Milan style straw hat. Damn, wish I had been there. But thanks for letting him know I have the hat.

I think it would be best to have one person to coordinate the hat's world tour. Konamouse, since you so awesomely found it, would you like to be in charge? If not, I'll volunteer to organize.

Sure, I'll be the coordinator of the World Hat Tour (easy if it's passed along to UF folks).
I can start a thread after I pass it along (officially) and then subsequent recipients PM and then post a blog-like info about the experience the hat while visiting with them.
For example, tomorrow the hat is going to Margaritaville. Pictures forthcoming.

I'm thinking about it traveling with a little book for each person to sign. Eventually I hope it makes it's way back to Las Vegas (at the end of it's world tour).

I'll get a nice box for it this weekend. Don't want to smash it.
It will go to a SF person first. I'll let you know who/where and then that person can designate the DC person, and from there onward to KC, etc. Please keep it within the UF family. After the Tombstone cemetery events
we get it across the pond (or shall we do it after DC with the hope it gets back to the states before the NY event)? Timing is the tricky part and getting it to the live events allows more folks to get their pictures with it.

How about this:
Please bring it to the cemetery for the Tombstone Poker Game and everyone can get a picture with it - photos can be sent while the hat is traveling. You guys can decide at the events the order/days each photo is submitted.

Edited to add:
I figure this hat will need about a year to get around to everyone in UF who plays(ed) LCP. This could become the longest thread evar!

No events happening in Boise, no, but if any of the groups at the Live Events wanted to pass it on to here, it'd be much appreciated.

I was hoping to get the hat to the most people at a time - then get it on it's world tour. But you bring up a good point. On the other hand, LCP did create opportunities for everyone to do a "live" event and participate via the cell phones/cemetery pictures, etc.

You guys want me to start it in the other direction instead?

Send it off across the pond to Ehsan et al first? Afterall, there are no events planned outside the states.

I'll do what the group wants. But no matter what happens, it's gonna take time to get anywhere. And I expect it will be traveling for long after LCP is over.
