[POKER] Problem with playing poker I, like many other people in chat, can't get into a room. When I click to enter all i get is a blank (or white) screen. I think that many people are having this problem as there are only a few people playing in any of the rooms. The rooms that had bots in them before seem to be empty as well.
Maybe this is just as well because I was getting so addicted to poker. Now if I can learn just learn when to bet.. or is that when to hold 'em?
Edit - Changed topic, and move to poker forum - Ehsan

Here's my thought:
Make sure you have the latest IE installed.
OR
It could be the java. Do you guys have Sun's java installed?
OR
Post computers specs and I'll try to troubleshoot. I need OS version, processor, and Vid card.

What OS are you running? 98? XP? MP? Or are you on a Mac?
Also, what processor are you running? Pentium III? AMD?
Do you have trouble in other java-based games?

I'm using FireFox 1.5 (Deer Park), and I don't see any flash animations on page. I'm not sure what the problem is (As it's on ALL sites, not just LastCall), but IE does the job.

Check your security setting in tools/options. (I'm on medium.)
Check your Firewall, too.
Also, have you messed with the "advanced settings" in the options recently? If you feel comfortable with it, set everything to defaukt and see what that does.
Let me know if that works. If not, I'll poke a bit further.
EDIT: YAY! Glad you got it going!

I'm having problems as well. But I'm on a Mac. I've tried Safari, Expolorer, and Firefox. They all give the same error message:
"System is specific to Windows platform specs and currently other OS users may experience technical issues. Sorry for the inconvenience."
*sigh* maybe I won't get to play this ARG after all...

I would suggest, for all of you on Macs, that you PM the mods on the in-game boards. The PMs have given us that capability; it would seem that that would be the best way to communicate with them at this point.
If they hear from enough annoyed Mac users, they may try and make the site Mac-friendly.

Good thought - but hitting "Post" gives me this:

I'd keep trying. I PM'd them and told them to change their link to UF when LCP got its own forum and it went through okay. Otherwise, if you think it's not going through because you're on a Mac, let me know, and I'll do it on your behalf. I just don't want to be the person bugging them all the time unless I have to.

So here's my sob story. I'm running Windows ME and using Firefox, I have JRE installed and my Java options are clicked in Firefox options.
The problem is, when I go to the control panel and open up the Java options and go to where you set which web browsers are to use Java, Firefox isn't selected, and when I select Firefox, it says that it's not installed properly.
So I re-installed Java AND Firefox, but still a no go.
Any ideas?

Did you uninstall first and reboot before you reinstalled?
Which Java? Sun?

And yeh, Sun Java Runtime Environment. Only thing that works for Firefox.

Did you try to change the Java enable from Firefox?
Tools/Options - "Web Features" on left bar.....
EDIT: Ahhh you said.
I'm out of ideas. I don't know ME that well.
Wow...I just went on to the site using Firefox, and it's different.
The avatars don't sit at the tables. Weeeeeird.
But - I got on just fine.
Everyone with problems, make sure the security is not at high, and the pop-up blocker is turned off.
