Don't think it's been mentioned, and yeah I was thinking the same thing, it's something else to distract/confuse us after all.

Well, as ever, I leave you behind for a week, and it all kicks off. I can see my way to coming to the next big meet up, but, be warned, I talk like I write Laughing

Oh, and what the hell were the other six keywords, anyway?

Scratch that! I've read the other threads now! The keywords still don't make a lot of sense, though.

Is anyone else worried that we have 5 days, and no idea where/when in London anything is going to happen?

Actually no. I imagine that because we need access to the internet and people online then we will be directed around by people from irc.

However I imagine we will be given a 'starting point' in the next three days. If we're not given anything by Friday though I would be a bit more concerned.

Ok, fair enough. Im just going to go to Play Lounge and that area for about noon, and hang around until we get some info, unless of course we are given a more specific meeting point before then.

I wouldn't mind being online support - HOWEVER - what does such a thing entail?

I get charged a kidney, liver and lung per-minute for receiving long distance on my phone.

Fear not. It'll mainly involve sitting in IRC, monitoring "online activity" (website updates, emails, who knows?) and then letting us know. Also, if we get stuck, we'll let you know what's going on so you can try and help us! We'll have IRC on the go, thanks to Chippy, but there'll also be a VOIP network. This means that you can use your microphone and speakers to "voice chat" online with the people in London, and the ground crew can just call a local-rate number using a phone. Lovely!

Also, I've put up a page about the event, mainly to welcome newbies who might be attending, and to encourage people from the PXC forums to come. Woo-yay-hoopla!

FYI GuyP, in your PXC forums post, the link to your live event page is actually another link recedaresorts. It's just such a nice page that everyone should be able to find it Smile

just a thought that is almost certainly wrong but-

time and place for saturdays clues could be 1pm BST/noon GMT (sun crosses meridian) and a tower, maybe Cleo's Needle or Nelsons Column or even the Monument

I am of the opinion thought that we would need the first six keywords to ensure the we get the seventh. The only one that I think we can be sure about at the moment is 'power'.

Great idea to recruit more people!

I know Ancient Greek, I could be useful!

I'm also good with knitting. I would berate you on such preconceptions of knitting/knitwear (you tend to wear a lot if you knit, occupational hazard), but I will let you off this time. Very Happy If somehow we end with a clue where we need to knit something, I will have needles and yarn with me, rest assured.

I'm very happy today because it looks pretty darn definite that I will be coming. That is if I get on with my work rather than writing needless posts.
