I made it up to #20, but am now back down to #31. There's 2 cards that I know the solves to, that aren't entering properly. Ah, well. I'll keep at 'em. Very Happy

It could be that they added another possible spelling variation, or corrected one. Confused

The leaderboard declares that there are 1176 players on it, but a better indicator of its health is the number that have solved at least one card. As of today that is 437 players, a mere 37% of the total. However, the figure has gone up from about 280 a few days ago.

In respect to that, I for one can say I registered but haven't put anything on - and am in two minds whether or not to, to be honest!

same with me - i do not really have enough cards to make it worthwhile

the leaderboard is really just a measure of how much money you've spent IMHO Smile

and i have a lot of other urgent things to spend money on -- i enjoy solving the puzzles tho Very Happy

All true for me too! I might try and solve the right combination of cards to get 333, that would be good.

I finally reached 333 this weekend! Very Happy Somebody else had it before me, but I still felt cool. Cool Of course, I couldn't resist adding more points in for long... I only left it at 333 for a few days. Laughing

You're quite right, although with judicious exchanging this can be reduced somewhat.

That is also a factor of openly sharing answers on this forum.

Perhaps we should adopt the convention used at www.thestone.com of not giving answers directly, but giving hints to them?

I agree with Tanner. In any case, posting answers doesn't allow people to get points. You have to have a card and its code in order to earn points. Very Happy

That said, Dude. The Stone is making my brain melt. I'd never been there before, and apparently I'd never realized what a total moron I am. Now... Bang Head

Given that the card solves MAY tie in with each other, and in some cases may give us clues to other puzzles, I agree with Tanner that we should continue to share as always. If someone wants to put in some hints along with their solve that's fine too of course Smile

Some of us just need a little nudge now and then, others of us need a big push Smile Either way, the main focus is on the game as a whole, not any individual solution.

Melt and then evaporate.
