I don't think so. I think it was just Izlington's way of saying, I wrote this post script long before I sent it to you.

1981. I know I've seen it. I know I'm not crazy. I know I saw it prior to seeing it in the book last night. Something Iz said to Toby or Orkid, or in an email to somebody I believe. Something to the effect of "1981 before you were born" or something like that, don't take that word for word, I'm paraphrasing.

...I know I've seen it....I know I'm not crazy....I know I'm not cRaZy...aM i CrAzY?...*rocking back and forth while biting nails*

Jackalope - below your address on the package, it said 'forward', right? And then underneath your address was Toby's address. So do you think Islington sent the package to Toby to send to you? Were there any signs that it had been mailed twice? I'm still curious as to whether Islington exists in the material world or whether [Iz]=[Toby]...

This just in from 'Toby' at Lazylaces:

Hi,
I see you found links from me to a charity...
I helped my Dad set up a simple, grassroots charity when I moved in with him in Ireland but since I came back to Wales I have taken a different path (media). Though I made the BGF site from Kilrush VTOS, my first attempt. I started vibration13 at the same time and as far as I know both are hosted with the same company, alwaysamer in Kerry. (nice place if your visiting. Drop by in Cork sometimes its a stones throw from Swans)
My Dad's in Cork tonight, I think, or on a Ferry to Wales, but if you meet him, for isntance in Swansea street (he plays FLUUUTE!) get him a T and take him to Monkey. There's always a welcome there. Hismixers there
Thanks for searching. This is a family charity, I am not needed as a functioning trustee but I still work, In Trust, on compatible Ideas. The Bill Godden Foundation is otherwise unlinked to Triskabiblios and one is not the purpose of the other. But you can donate to them if you like, you'd sure help them out. Send envelopes to CreditUnion Kilrush addressed to Reinold c/o BillGoddenFoundation. Keep an eye on their site to see what they do with the money! (totally accountable!)
Sincerely,
Toby William Godden
former Trustee
(still Trustworthy)

Just keeping you informed, you see

Well...okay then. Reinhold might be a little confused then. Ah, well. Smile

Jack - I just ordered the Practical Time Travel book from http://www.alibris.com/. I think they have more copies if anyone else is interested. (here: http://tinyurl.com/dygr5)

Should be here in another week... Sounds like an interesting read.

Nope. But if I remember my times right, that email was sent mid-to-late afternoon Ireland time. I don't know about Ireland, but here in the States that's already weekend. So maybe Monday? I understand that Toby says the foundation is OOG, but then the links and stills show up. Hm.

Sometimes I get the idea that this some of this is being made up as we go along in response to what gets posted here. Maybe the foundation was OOG, but was brought in as a direct result of hunches and googles people followed. Could make it real hard to puzzle out an ultimate resolution and cull out red herrings if any random speculation can get worked in somehow.

After recent events, I think it's pretty clear that there is a Push-Me Pull-You thing going on between this forum and the 13books website. Something changes there, we discuss it here until we get closer to an answer and then it changes again. What is said here is definitely influencing what happens over there (take the 'thekey.html' page as an example). But that shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us, as Islington has said (on page one of the edited Trailhead thread):

... it's The Story that Told Itself. You are the keyplayer
Be The Game
Be Where You Are
(in Time/Space)
be Absolute
World Peace by 2013! HareOm!

Here's to our collective efforts

Hmmm....I like that theory Law.

'A mysterious man meets Incog Neato at the Norfolk airport and gives her a bag containing a million dollars and instructions to use it as she sees fit.'

Let's see if it works!!! Razz

I kid, of course!

Seriously though, I think that in order for this all to have a 'happy' ending it HAS to be a give and take. The only way this is going to work is if we ARE all intricately involved in the process. If we were merely pawns....we would lose interest rather quickly. Wink

Again, I so wish that I could be in London. Sad

Carry on....

Yes, so do I. I'd forgotten about that. Might be time to go back and do some review. When I have, like, 3 hours of free time. Smile

Yep. Yep, you're right. And I, too, wish I could be in London--for any number of reasons.

I haven't seen this included anywhere here - "Kipper" at LL has received a letter:-
Quote:
Comment By Kipperloony
i picked up a letter today. i had a call the other night telling me to go to the monkey bar/cafe in swansea on the following friday (14th) at 6pm. I were to go to the bar and ask for a golden envelope. I got really excited about this Very Happy. On my way there i popped into work to say hi and my boss Matt told me that there had been a letter dropped off for me. On the envelope was written 'kipper' in pencil and had a branch with some leaves drawn on it. Inside was a folded up page from a book. It was sealed with a leaf which had a card-board cut out stuck on top of it. it had the recycling sign imprinted on it (the triangle of arrows).
on one side of the page was an illistration (from the book) of Alice (in wonderland) being given a thimble by a dodo. Underneath the leaf-binding bore the legend:
"We beg your acceptence of this elegant thimble"
above this was drawn in pencil a thimble with the number 13 on it.

The other side of the page was hand written the following in blue ink:

"over leaf, the Dodo demonstrates
a barter exchange
in which energy
is moved and transferred
and yet
Alice
is, initially left with a fraction
of her initial potential
(ie contents of pockets)
thusly
on a microcosmic scale
she may feel a little hard done by.
But the energy
transferred from potential
(ownership of objects)
into kinetic
(trading of gifts)
into s. energy
(feeling of goodwill in recipients.)
It is in this way we can
DECONSTRUCT
the concept of trade
and consequently, money,
and see it abstractly as a means
of energy transfer.
Remember the Rule:
'Energy cannot be created or destroyed
merely transfered from one form to another.'
from Module 1.3
Transtemporanious Contextualisation
Triskabiblios University notes"

what do you think?

A peek into the ideal future (no money).

But I have a question: why did the guy get this at his work, and why didn't he go to that bar?
