[13books] [INTERACTION][LIVE EVENT]

In an effort to stop the Book Zero thread ending up like the Trailhead, may I second Atrophied's suggestion that we put any arrangements and speculations for The Meeting on Sunday here?

Just keeping things tidy,

Law of Five

To get us started with this new thread (yay for Atrophied and Law of Five), I'm posting this from the Book Zero thread:

I think we should back to the message from Islington Orkid posted in her livejournal:

"A number of cryptic wordstrings will, when the receptive mind feeds on them, will shed a faint crack of light on the mystery location
Kipper is right.
The passkey is in matter/place in Time.

Okay, all you "receptive minds" out there, let's churn these cryptic word strings a bit and see what we get out of them.

OrKid's scribe page says 16Oct underneath Alice. Another pointer that the 16th (not the 13th?) is our golden day to go "through the looking glass" and fully emerse ourselves in the 13Books.

I'm still wondering if Duckie's key is going to show up at Colgate University?

And if so, when and where's duckie?

Is there anyway to record the WebCam? I'm not going to have access to Internet on Sunday, and I'm so sad that I'm going to miss the whole thing!

If you mean the triskabiblios one, it doesn't appear to be a real webcam, so shouldn't be too hard.

yea I snuck a peek at the source it's not a cam just an image set to refresh every 13 seconds so that it looks like a webcam.

From what I read (or at least think I did - coming down with a cold so everything feels a bit blurry), it seems Graeme is planning on bringing a camera with him on Sunday and will put whatever he gets on film up on LL later Smile

I'm starting to worry it's going to be a bit of a mission for anyone to get there on Sunday. Entire Northern Line's shut down over safety concerns, and they're not sure when it'll open again. I suppose it should be open again by then, but you never know with these things.

I'm sure our LARGers will find a way to get there. (I coined a new term! Very Happy )
