More specifically, it means that somewhere within that thread topic, is a file that you can click to either download, or view directly.

Usually it's a picture file, or a sound byte or a document. But I suppose it could also be a video, etc... you get the point.

It means that there is a file attachment used somewhere in the file.

I know that was probably the really long, unecessary way of explaining, but now there will NEVER be another reason for someone to ask again...

(Which means someone will in approximately 2.5 days. Smile

)
