Welcome back! I was wondering where you went. I was afraid you had gotten bored and decided to quit. That or you had died. Either way I would have been disappointed, but more so if you had quit...
Anyways, it's a good thing you made it back just in time for the live event!
and that's why I love this community.

OK boys and girls, a full dry run of the VOIP call will be done today in the afternoon-evening time, at around 3:15 pm. You can donwload x-lite from here .
Connection details will be PM'd to those who requested access.
The PSTN numbers will be posted here once I've got the other users connecting to the server properly. I will be in the IRC room from 3pm onwards.

You can view the weather details for the hours that we'll be there here It should be cloudy but sunny, but it may rain a bit, so I'd advise you bring light waterproofs, or an umbrella, but no artic skiing gear is necessary

I still really want to come along, but don't know if I can afford it. I'm trying to save to go to New Zealand in January to visit my sister, and every penny counts at the moment. Very, very tempted though, it's only £25 for a return train ticket, and money for a few packs of cards. And drinking money. So it's not that cheap. It will probably be a spur of the minute thing tomorrow, and if I can't make it, I'll definitely be online to help.

I'll try to have Relay Station Alpha on-line tomorrow, but I may have to take it offline for maintenance.
Good luck to all CRT EarthDiv operatives who have accepted this mission!

Yes, I can imagine that all the cubehunters on clapham common tomorrow will look like that photo.
I wish I could be one of the purple people! In fact I think I'll wear my purple tie tomorrow whilst i'm online helping with the net support.

For fun, wear it round your head doing your best Rambo impersonation. You know it makes sense. I think the same should be true for all cube-hunters "in the field" wearing ties.

Just as a reminder -
DO NOT WORRY IF YOU DO NOT OWN ANYTHING PURPLE - SIMPLY LOOK FOR ONE OF US WEARING A "SPECIAL CORPS" BADGE AND ASK FOR A BADGE!!!
7/8 of them will say "Go over to *point* that guy", which will be me. I have 32 "badges" in total (they are just glorified business cards - need safety pins) which are nice and bright purple and sport a rather sexy-looking logo.

Oooooh.... Well, I was going to wear a purple plastic bag on my head, but those badges look tres coooooolio How many people are we looking at going at the moment (I guess that question is going to GuyP since he'd probably be the one in the know), and do we have ANY idea how many non UF people will be there? It's the big question isn't it - how many of those non UF types on PxC.com's leaderboard are actually into the ARG element and going tomorrow... I guess we'll find out...

Gah, you're making me not want to wear my lovely purple shirt in order to scrounge a badge off you. I think I have enough purple things though - I just realised that I'm knitting a purple(ish) scarf and a bracelet I always wear is purple. I like purple
I get the feeling that Starbucks is going to get very full. Given that non UFers will still find Guy's site and Starbucks, and we're going there on Saturday just after lunch... Knowing me, I'll be there an hour early.
Ooh, too excited, I'm never going to get to sleep tonight. Too much of an insomniac at the best of times.

just to say i'll probably be there fairly early (just in case the trains fsck up), so i'll sit around in starbucks, probably listening to music on my PSP and eating... I like food (You'll recognise me by my spiky hair (which might not be spiked - it's getting so long it's collapsing under its own weight...), Warwick RAG hoodie, jeans, blue backpack with purple placcy bag tied to it, and i'm about 6'3" and fairly thin, there ya go, you can't miss me now!)
Uhm yeah, cyall tomorrow (just going over to my gf's now so won't check til later)
