Maybe it's remember instead of everything. Remember/the key?

At about 1:50 PM Eastern Time, I received a call on my cell. The man on the phone identified himself as Ray . Then he said, "For security purposes, what is the password for the Matrix?" I replied "A4B3C2D1 ". Then he asked me if I was familiar with the raygat file. I answered yes, and then Ray said, "Remember, the key is everything... Remember, the key is everything..." and then we were disconnected.

The phone number logged into my caller ID as (312) 322-9058 . I tried about an hour later to return the call. The phone rang, but no one answered.

I checked the area code, and as mentioned by witchywindy, it is for a Chicago location.

So, once again, Remember, the key is everything

I just let the phone ring for 5 minutes, no pick up. I guess he's determined not to respond. Wink

I just got a call from Angela (I was too slow picking up, but she left a voicemail)

"Lindsay, are you there? This is Angela, Angela Ross. Are you there Lindsay? Pick up, this is Angela Ross. Okay, well I'm calling on behalf of Ray Gatin. He wanted me to pass on this 10-digit key. The numbers are 1, 9, 2, 7, 10 -- "

"Angela" (in the background)

"Oh! Hi _______, I didn't see you standing there -- "

and then it cuts out. I played the message probably 15 times but for the life of me I can't make out the name she says to the person who interrupted. The closest it sounds to is Seamus (pron. See-mus) I don't have caller-id on my cell so no number...

Also received a call, 5:07 pm CST, 574 Area code (Indiana). It was Angela, asking for James, and then saying that we need to move quickly. Something or other about the L3 survey and she needed some sort of code. I'm not refreshed to all the goings-on in this game, so I gave her A4B3C2D1, which I think I read about earlier in the week.

Alas, she told me that I was wrong and said goodbye. My brush with ARG fame was all too brief.

I still have the number if anyone wants to try it (I'm not adding any extra long-distance charges on the bill this month).

For 5 minutes? You're lucky he doesn't come after you with a damn ax!

Shocked
