[META][HUMOUR] Names. Do you think the perplexians ever wonder why we all have such weird names? SpaceBass, MikeyJ, <Insert Weird Forum Dweller's Name Here>.

Well mine comes from my initials. My first names are Christopher John, so a load of mates call me CJ and the really lazy ones started pronouncing it Seej, so it stuck. Boring, eh? How did the rest of you arrive at your handles?

I probably sub-conciously stole mine from someone, but I just wanted a cool sounding name:
"Hmm, I want to sound powerful, but mysterious... Like some kind of master of enigma... An Enigma Master... A-Ha!"

I'm proud to say mine was ripped off of a character made for the old Shadowrun system. Seemed like a good name for a decker, and a perfect screen name when I got into the world of the net

I use my own name in order that Mind Candy may look upon it and tremble

Umm, well my name is my old mickname from school which was given to me in year 9 (age 13) and kind of stuck as an online handle, and what people in Reading still call me. My friend Lee one day thought it would be clever to shorten my name "Jamie Sawyer" to "Joya" because apparently I always abbreviated everything. Then he called me "Jebediah Joya of the Joyaish kind" (we WERE in year 9, this was acceptable in those days), and then Jeb just kind of stuck... I do actually respond to Jeb easier than I do to Jamie now, it's a bit of a worry...

I feel kind of stupid for picking mine for ARGs, seeing as it really doesnt even SOUND like a name.. (for things like sentinel articles and the like). But... simply, i love music, i don't like what they play on the radio, the am dial only goes down to like... 540 i think... so am520 doesnt exist, its my music that i listen to... (also the name of a shoutcast station i had up for a very little time)

my name comes from ... well actually i dont know. it was my account name on a website once and now it sticks with me- on counter strike, guild wars, on here etc etc. also i use it for any account name i can, so if you see tangohead (or something of the like) then you can be pretty sure its me. it has nothing to do with my name cos i get called Matt or Matty so i kinda dont know lol

Well, let's put it this way . . . I'm into the more . . . unusual aspects of personal relationships, if you see what I mean

...I'm a dog person myself...less, weird
On a related matter...pronunciation of names...how are you all pronounced, some are obvious, but some not so. SpaceBass for example...intergalactic fish or guitar?
