[Oct 20th] Perplex City Upgrades
Quote:
These upgrades are scheduled to go live at 16:10 BST on Thursday 20 October 2005:
We have added a new Customer Support page with dedicated email addresses for all customer support and service enquiries
We have updated the Perplex City FAQ to include information about how many attempts you are allowed per card each day
We have made some changes to the images we use so pages should load more quickly
We have added more valid answers for Card 87, Bar Crossing
A typo on the answer form for Card 105, Arrange My Lace Bits, has been corrected
Some incorrect answers now provide you with a hint
We have corrected a problem some players may have experienced when clicking on the link provided in their account confirmation email
The speech bubble in the leaderboard table now appears if a player has set her profile or a quote
The leaderboard now has alternating table row colours to make it easier to read
Unfortunately, none of the silvers, and Purple 181 don't give hints

And some useful news therein:

The next wave, comprising another 66 cards, will be released in mid-November. We're sorry you'll have to wait a while, but our puzzle scribes are trying extra hard to make sure you've got great puzzles to solve.
Another month to go then.

Are there a lack of eyes in the MC office? The colours on the leaderboard are very grating.

I wonder what is taking them so long to get the cards done. They've had nigh on six months since the last wave to get them printed. It only takes (at most) a week or two to ship them. Maybe we're progressing the story slower than is necessary, and they think we should solve the stuff we still have first.

Easier?! That is hideous. And a player's list of solved cards is now black on black and hence impossible to read (unless you select or CTRL+A)

Huh? All I'm seeing is a pleasant shade of blue alternating with the white. Doesn't quite match with the purple theme of the site, but it isn't eye-searing or anything...

Whew! The colors are now back to normal! That green and black was giving me a headache!

This is currently eyebleedingly neon in IE, but in Firefox you'll see the gentle hues zaeil describes. I'm sure they'll fix it, although who knows how those colours got into the code in the first place!

This is about the closest topic I could find for this, anybody else having problems with the perplexcity site today? the leaderboard has gone nuts and my homepage shows ALL my attempts at my cards not just my successful ones. BTW I have solved 100 cards atm
Also trying to bring up a solve card page brings up missing pictures and what looks like the javascript instructions for the solve box instead of the box!

Already sent an email to customer support before I found this thread!!
It managed to delete nearly all of my reds/yellows and yet gave me cards I haven't even attempted solves on online lol...
Still came in on total number of points though :/
Can I confirm you only get points once for each named card? ie if you have 3 t-l-p you can't put code in for each one and get 3x the points??
Looks like someone in our group did this...or is this just part of the whole glitch going on?
