Awww - looks like this was merely what we were meant to find during the day (rather than some guy giving us actual directions).

At least we have a solve-path now (although I am still suspect about some of the seemingly random letters for the files...)

For completeness [needed for those who never saw the link because of the abort message and don't know how to read the source of the page that is left]...

http://secure.recedaresorts.com/radiofeed.html

The pictures that were sent to get us the radio keyword Smile

Code book was found but not sure it was used...IRC was manic but fun too!
The three hours seemed to fly by, with lots of clicking and cursing and a good time had by all!!

I was gutted about the mole. It was better than the panicking of the "kidnapping" though!!

Grats to all, and I hope I can attend in person next time!

Yeah, to clarify, someone on IRC said something about 2 people from the group getting onto a helicopter. Some how, this was translated into "a man and one of the children from the group were just forced onto a helicopter!" We now know that there was only one person from the group who got onto the helicopter and that he got on willfully. And that he was not a small child.

Well, we did have a brief moment of concern at the heliport, when we thought that we'd lost one of our party - thankfully James turned up safe and sound and he and Elaine we re-united, but yes, easy to see how that could have been "Chinese-Whispered" back to you guys.

AFAIK James was one of us four that remained on the opposite side of the heliport with the cameraman.

Tthat was just like a cutscene in a video game - nothing you can do to stop the events happening. You just had to sit / stand and watch that chopper take off.

That was exactly what I thought! We were completely hopeless really, just glaring and booing at the mole. When I found his bag, i was in two minds about opening it. I half expected a human head or a bomb. But no. About 18 million packs of cards, badges and the note.
Oh, and most importantly, free drinks.

Cliffnotes: We failed almost all the puzzles in the time limit, you guys got all the keywords anyway and sent us to the Mole's escape point, he escaped and we all got free cards and leitmarks.

the only keywords we got were ones relayed back from people in teams via phone and irc and stuff. we got match from the m12 boxes of delight team, and told that green was possibly the boat one (obviously not now tho) but in the end they 'changed the security protocols' and let us in with only one keyword, ether, which we had got from the radio play team having completed their task and the password being updated on the radio feed page. the only thing we got out of our trail was the keyword input page to put your answers into, and then the photo trail/map which we then tried to relay to as many of you guys as possible to show you where you were meant to go!

edit: oh and of course, also the spy notes and the link to the 3rd power comms thingy...

rach =)

Here's the link for the groupware site: http://therecedaapproach.com/remembrance/

Here's where it says the software will open up in 48 hours:http://therecedaapproach.com/remembrance/auditor/

I'm guessing that's 48 hours from Saturday 5PM BST.
