I'm googling the names, except Merle Freeman who only lived to be a little over 1 year old.

The honorable Philip Johnson was a member of the 38th Congress and I believe we are going back to the Civil War to see how the Gun came into the hands of Captain Whitecloud.

Whitecloud seems to be an American Indian name. Maybe the Gun was passed down from an Indian ancestor following some Indian battle fought by then Colonel JEB Stuart.

The Philip Johnson:
Quote:
JOHNSON, Philip
(1818—1867)
JOHNSON, Philip, a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Polkville, Knowlton Township, Warren County, N.J., January 17, 1818; moved to Mount Bethel, Pa., in 1839; attended the common schools and Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., 1842-1844; was a plantation tutor in Mississippi 1844-1846; returned to Pennsylvania; studied law; attended Union Law School in Easton, Pa.; was admitted to the bar in 1848 and commenced practice in Easton; county court clerk 1848-1853; member of the State house of representatives in 1853 and 1854; revenue commissioner of the third judicial district in 1859 and 1860; elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-seventh, Thirty-eighth, and Thirty-ninth Congresses and served from March 4, 1861, until his death in Washington, D.C., January 29, 1867; interment in Easton Cemetery, Easton, Pa.

Because death dates might be importaint. This Phil J. has a centopath in Wash. cem., but is not buried there, from what I can tell internet-wise.

New poster, don't hate me.

from chat REVIEW

tyn> "#1 Henry Ness DOD: Sept 10th 1850"
<krystyn> "#2 Merle Freeman Born: July 27th 1892 DOD: Aug 24th 1893"
<<krystyn> "#3 Philip Johnson DOD: Feb 1st 1867"
<krystyn> "#4: Brown."
<krystyn> I was reviewing
"Jeffrey Alan Heiners Born Jul 6th 1954 DOD Oct 8th 1990"

-------
random chat information so you can see how confused we tend to get!

I think this is the answer for number 4 - the person from the empire state

<krystyn> "Silas M. Burrughs"
<krystyn> "DOD: June 3rd 1860."
<krystyn> "Age 49"

number 3 seemed to be home

rose> krystyn: if someone wants to call me they can
<Shadow> "Where isn't he these days" might well refer to a message on the tombstone itself, which could help identify the right one...
<MapMaker> oh, I'd go for Matthew Brady, if they find him
<krystyn> "Mistah Heineh he no home - on the back of a photojournalist's tomb. And the clue is "where is he not?"

-----"
<krystyn> "Never again, Never forget"
<krystyn> they found it
-------

"Last name, Matlovich Born Jul6th 1943, DOD June 22 1988"
<krystyn> ... maybe?
<Shadow> "The world"?
<Abraxas> can we do anything from here?
<krystyn> I thought I was repeating them so you guys could post.

--------
krystyn> They're splitting to go down the two roads, apparently.
<krystyn> to find the two eternal lovers

---------
<krystyn> "A lifetime together wasn't enough -- on the base of a bench"
<krystyn> They found it.
* Ikkarus has joined #lastcall
<vidstudent> Yay!
<JTony> Now to the old colony
<krystyn> "Poopsie and Baby Pie on the other side of the bench"
<MasterCheese> next question!
<krystyn> AWESOME
<catherwood> from what I can tell, clue #5 has 4 fill-in-the-blank sections. #6 only has 2 on the next page.
<SuperJerms> lol great name
<krystyn> "James Anthony Colias and Cala Engel

------
krystyn> Page 6 of 9, they're on.

krystyn> They're suddenly VERY chatty, hee hee.
<Shadow> Yeah, I think there are only two more extra "binocular" clues.
* krystyn dances.
<MasterCheese> because we'll probably have hit the end by the time you're finished
<krystyn> "We're at the chapel now"

-------
Bay state is the normal one, but it's also called Old Colony too
<krystyn> "Orin Fowler DOD Sept 3rd 1852 - they think this is the one"
<Wiser> wait... how many dates are there to find?
<JTony> They just need to find a grave of someone from the old colony (near a previous grave already found)

-------
krystyn: When they get to the powerfully named fellow in #8: Strong?
-------
"P.S. Some people's days are numbered. Keep that in mind, and you'll have all the information you need to reveal the first of eight new cards. Good luck."
whatever... we got the popup saying they are near the Last call...

Update?

I think that we may have to find a card by solving a puzzle from the graveyard to get today's updates!

None of the current card personalities would have been alive in the civil war.

We are definitely on an 1800's roll here. It seems out of place.

EDIT: The true origin of the GUN is in the hands of J.E.B. Stuart. A Famous Confederate General. That's why I'm thinking of the Civil War era time warp. Also, the Game "The Gun" is based in the wild west in the 1800's another clue.

It won't all be 1860's, though -- their last circle around the graves task is for three daughters of the American Revolution ....
