Maybe the Gun was in Lucky's family before the war and was lent to Maurice for a time.

Lucky got the gun in WWII from Maurice after Maurice took it off John Whitecloud to shoot Father Mueller. John got it from "Buddy of mine, son of an old Nebraska Lawman".

Lucky said that earlier history of the GUN would be "another story", predicted to be TODAY's.

I skipped ahead to #9...

Grave of an Andrew whose brother died in a wreck near White Sulphur...

Samuel Keithley died in 1889 in a train wreck near White Sulphur Springs. He is buried in Congressional.

His brother died October 14, 1880 of consumption. He is also buried in Congressional.

Gravesite from a Keithley family site:
Range 86 Site 102

Hope that helps. Google rocks.

Just a note: In congressional cemetery, Range 59 Site 83 (ie. somewhat the general vacinity) There is an old nebraska lawman, John Mellen Thurston, DOD: 9 Aug 1916. Not our working time frame of the 1800s, but just thought I'd throw it out.

At least we're all paying attention.

Speaking of that. This is one hell of a PR project for a video game huh?

Lucy's story starts here. The story of the Gun goes back to Al Capone's Chicago, 1929 - bullets and booze
and a stock market that couldn't go wrong... I'll take you back there, and hope you will return the favor

Well, I've never heard of the game before, but now that I'm back in US, I plan to go and buy it. If it's half as good as this, it'll be fun, if not, its an x-mas gift for someone.
