[SPEC] Lucy in LA

I was just thinking...

I wonder if Lucy will show up at the LA live event. She lives in LA, Lucky taught her to play Tombstone Hold 'Em, and it's the last live event we know about, right? So having her show up would be appropriately climactic....

I fully expect all the characters to show up in LA. I think that the LA Tombstone Mission will bring the website "back to the future".

And this is why I changed multiple work schedules and told my ARG-widower hubby that he is driving me to LA on Nov 19th.

And why I hope to see Vic's hat back in LA at this time (to get a photo with the characters).

BTW, does Jane still think that this event is on Nov 29th (per her website and a press interview at the SF event)? Lucky appears to have it scheduled for Nov 19th (a Saturday as per the other events).

i was thinking this myself. i wouldn't be surprised if the LA crew gets treated to a showdown between characters. i have a feeling there'll be some drama playing out.
being LA and all, the PM's could actually get clearance to have prop weaponry out in public, just by getting a filming permit (they already did it once for the original scene).

Dood. Gangs and gunplay in a cemetery *anywhere* in LA will bring out the SWAT...Smile

I'm going to guess that we won't be dealing with much gunplay, per se. High drama and tensions, sure.

Of course, if we see something from Lucky saying something to the effect of "Don't Pack Heat", I'm at least wearing kevlar. Wink

LA

Because the last story ended with a poker match and because William is preparing for "Celebrity Survivor Poker", my guess is that we end with a poker game. Probably for the Colt and any treasure contained therein. ( Not sure who gets to play in it yet - but my spec is that at least the Sheriff (don mcpherson) and the Drunk(William) will be there. Lucy won't because of her addiction. But she will be around.

Of course, if it is live and in person that cuts out the possibility of our dead characters playing. So it could end with an online game as the end of the live event brings us back to the present.

I can only imagine that Los Angeles and the surrounding environs are the Land of Permits, what with the Hollywood Machine having to create new death-defying stunts every week for The L Word and all.

I know just a little bit about film permitting in New York. A film permit is for... filming... and if there are weapons a fulltime police officer is required at all times. Guns have to be locked and under strict supervision, etc.

There is no provision for an event being open to the general public as a part of filiming. Maybe if we all signed up as 'extras'.

I just wouldn't get too excited about a shootout ending. But my spec is for an online poker game or some kind of online/live combination finale. Ma No way they will leave all of the rest of us out in the cold. Remember the AotH webcast? Smile
